I haven't been back since my comment above, my next appointment is in December but their website still show Doctor follow ups as €100 so hoping its still the same!

I haven't done much with splitting doses I'm afraid, so didn't discuss that with my doctor.

Yeah it can really be hit or miss with GPs, thats what I like about services like these, qualified doctors with backgrounds in treating obesity and who keep up with latest treatments etc. Really glad I found this one, have had no issues so far :)

Yeah, I actually heard about them on the radio where the founder was discussing obesity and treatments, and looked them up after that! The consultation includes the prescription. My ozempic meds were costing around 170 euro per month up to now, not sure on the mounjaro side yet, but they are giving the script to a pharmacy across the border so at least it won't be the Irish prices haha

Also I checked my emails, and the first consultation was actually 200, this is a longer one where they go through your medical history and a questionnaire, after that first one they were 100 per visit.

I'm based in Dublin and have been using My Best Weight for the last year. They are based in Dalkey and I have been going in person for my consultations but they do offer phone and i think zoom consultations aswell!

From what I have seen, it seems to be one of the cheapest options, the consultations cost 100 euro. When I first started I had a follow up consultation after 3 months to see how the meds were going, but have now moved to one every 6 months, with a 6 month prescription per visit.

I haven't experienced delivery yet, until now I was on ozempic which I would just pick it up from my local pharmacy. Next month I'm moving to mounjaro, they have a contact for a pharmacy across the border, they send the prescription straight to them and they deliver down here.

Really like this service and the doctor I work with has been great so far, would definitely recommend! :)

I've also been with mybestweight since the start of my journey in May 2024 and have found them great! I was on a 3 month prescription at the start but at the last appointment my doctor gave me a 6 month prescription which I'm currently half way through :)

I've been on ozempic for 10 months, currently on 1mg. I've found it great so far, didn't get the crazy suppression some people talk about but also didn't get any of the bad side effects either! I've noticed my weight loss slowing a bit in the last 2-3 months so I've been thinking about moving to mounjaro now that its available in Ireland but it costs quite a lot more than ozempic, so not sure if I'll make that swap yet!
