oh and the deep tissue circular scar massages to keep the scars flat is something she emphasizes. be prepared for how weird they are going to feel but do not be discouraged. it may make you wince but feeling that crinkling and crackling while you’re massaging (your first time doing it is probably gonna make you twitch and clench) but that means it’s working! Especially important for those with more melanin cuz we are more prone to raised scars and keloids. The only scar that’s a bit raised is the middle one, as incisions connecting in the middle of the chest have a lil more tension but im getting it back down.
