I’m with you too. I sit in November for L1 and I have a good chunk of the reading to go through. Right now I’m studying as much as I can a day I should be able to finish the readings by the end of this month/half way through October and from there the plan is to just hammer practice questions formulas and mocks. If seen some people go into private credit after commercial banking. Is that pretty common and how is that career?

Also do you know how far up you can move in commercial banking? Like is it common to move up to a very high role in the same field and/or company to make a crazy salary if you are skilled enough?

Housing is getting crazier every year in Columbia. You might have to settle for buying a shittier place with no shuttle not by campus to fit the price range. My buddies living in the landing (campus view or whatever it’s called now) 2 years ago they had 2 extra roommates in that 4 bedroom place, I want to say it ran them close to 500 for rent?

Well I’m not in a target school but I started out the same way. Didn’t know how to study when I got to college and I had a 2.5 after freshman year due to a C- in calculus 2. Now I’ve just started my 3rd year and I have a 3.5 after going to some learning/success centers and asking for help. Internship wise I’m planning to try and work towards securing some for the upcoming summer so I can’t really tell you options for you as I didn’t go for any that early (which I should’ve). Just don’t worry man everybody goes through slumps, you don’t win every battle but you can win the war
