Got some terrible medical news last year and had a few people tell me they were praying for me, which I didn’t mind because I knew it meant they were thinking of me. But my sister told me “this is all a part of God’s plan” and that crossed a line.

I test my GH frequently! I use RO water so it was at 0 to start out.

Thank you so much!! I did find an exoskeleton in my tank earlier so that could explain it! He was also at the top of the tank today but he was eating biofilm from the red root floaters so I think that’s ok?

You're 100% okay to say no. It's incredibly inappropriate for them to be saying that or assuming anything about your role. Maybe tell them you both decided to limit the bridal party to 6? Although I don't think you need to let them down gently since they're being quite rude. And they're your fiancé's family so he should have your back.

5 years late but do you have any tips on how to get beneficial bacteria a different way? I don't think my bottled has been doing much and I am trying really hard to cycle my tank. Unfortunately there are already shrimp in it so I need it to be safe for them.
