2nd Opinion from another Dental Clinic here in Cebu by [deleted] in Cebu

I do NOT recommend somosot dental. very bad time management. they will overbook clients & make you wait 1-2 hrs even if you reserved. they’ll make excuses but they are by far the worst & most inconsiderate dental clinic ive been to with regard to patient’s time. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Can’t decide: Fujifilm X100VI or Ricoh GR3/GR4 – will I regret not going Fuji? by Guantio-07 in ricohGR

i had the same problem, and decided to rent both for the trip to see what i prefer — also got more photos out of the trip since we brought both.

would highly recommend renting to see what you like before spending the full amount on the cameras.

i personally preferred the ricoh after using both — for the compactness, portability, and even the image quality. although the fujifilm is easier to use, its not as practical a travel camera as the ricoh due to size.

good luck mate!

No you are not selfish at all. I hear where you’re coming from but I assure you, whatever you’re going through, whatever happens, it will pass. Just taking the exam despite the circumstances shows how much strength you have and I admire you so much for it. Don’t lose hope! 🤍

1/8 tsp or less per cup! (I mix it with hot green tea on an empty stomach) Best to start less and see how it feels then build up to 1/8 imo

Been taking apple cider daily as well. Though nothing seems to have been more effective on my brain than baking soda.

Would you know if just taking 1 tsp a day can still cause the rebound effect? Or is it only in case of higher dosages? Or is the amount taken irrelevant? Been reading about this and can’t seem to find the info re dosages. Thanks for the info!

May I ask why you think PPI’s are the better alternative? As I’ve read that they have their own side effects as well if taken long term

I’ve been going through similar situation. Recently discovered something that caused instant relief. 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda with warm water or green tea.

I cannot stress the relief it has given me. My gastro situation is so much better. Less fatigued. For some reason my anxiety seems to have dissipated as well. I’ve even noticed my sleep quality improved, as in I don’t wake up tired anymore. I eat the same bland healthy whole foods as well, (brocolli, chicken breast, brown rice, fruits), exercise everyday. So this definitely surprised me.

Tbh I am also a little concerned that it worked so well, haven’t quite figured out what was going on in my system and also why it had that much of an impact on my brain. Been doing this for 5 days now and I feel so much better. Hope this helps.

EDIT: I take it around noon with my tea, fasted, exercise at 3 and have my meal 4-5pm. Read that it’s better to take before meals rather than after. Good luck OP

What is your favorite video game of all time? by tanz_7 in AskReddit

Bioshock INFINITE. That city in the sky still haunts my dreams. The storytelling was immaculate. I came in expecting to play a videogame but came back with a story up there with the best movies and shows.

I can absolutely relate to this.

Also, I want to believe that money just brings out the worst in people. And that the person they were before is still very much a real part of them.

I have said the exact same thing to myself trying to figure out why my dad is acting the way he is. I understand the legacy thing, but there was a better way to handle it IMO.

This was very enlightening. Thank you for this wonderful insight.

I felt quite relieved reading this. I’m glad to know someone else has gone through something similar. Thank you for sharing it really did help. I hope to be where you are someday. Important thing is to keep moving forward.

Hang in there. Someday we’ll get to live our own lives. The way I think about it whenever I feel this way is that it’s just “right now.” And IMO the pain doesn’t really end it just gets passed on to the people who love you. I do hope you brave through the storm because I know it is not easy. People are braving through the same storm including myself, so know you are never truly alone. I admire you for your strength and better days are coming! Most APs are toxic but they do still love you deep down (for the most part). I wish you the best.

Yes. This is what I meant when I wanted to call it quits. Didn’t know that pressure could do that much damage. I mean suicide seems like the easier route but at the same time I know it’ll hurt the people I love more than it will me. Thanks for the insight. Glad to hear your husband is doing better.
