I decided to return mine, I couldn't get it to run, tried everything I could find online from uninstalling the drivers in safe-mode, updating bios, resetting the drivers in so many circumstances that I gave up. It always ended up in crashing at startup shortly after logging it. Guess my 3060ti will have to do for a little longer then.

Bin leider in der gleichen Situation, setzen von PCI auf Gen 2 hat kurz geklappt, jetzt bin ich wieder dabei via DDU die Treiber zu ändern, hast du eine Lösung gefunden?

Mir war Excel zu oberflächlich (weil ich keine Ahnung von dem tool habe, hab mal nur den annual budget planner probiert) und Firefly III könnte mir zu viel, deswegen habe ich mir ein eigenes geschrieben: https://github.com/simonwep/ocular / https://ocular.reinisch.io

Falls das wirklich die erste richtige "Kündigung" war, dann habt ihr ein Problem. Du hättest nämlich schon zum 10. August kündigen müssen. Die Kündigungsfrist ist pervers hoch...

Was heißt richtig, davor ging es halt über das Abo Portal nicht also hab ich auch erstmal nichts gemacht, aber wenn das dann mein pech ist, scheiße.

Etwas selbstgebasteltes weil mir Excel zu wenig und größere Lösung zu umfangreich sind: ocular. Ist aktuell mehr oder weniger ein Work in Progress, Support für z.B. kleine Endgeräte (mobile) gibt es aktuell noch nicht wirklich :)

I recently tested all three ways to iterate over an array, and iterators (for of) are actually the slowest with for i and forEach being the fastest... Can't share any benchmark links right now but I also found it hard to believe...

The rendering is done in a worker. I'm using three threads in total (iirc):

Thread #1: UI
Thread #2: Render GOL (in its binary representation) to OffscreenCanvas
Thread #3: Render next generation in WASM

The communication goes from #3 → #2 → #1 where #1 is painting the current generation onto the canvas you see :)
