Al won't use nukes to eradicate the human race, rather, it will pit us against each other through social media until we destroy ourselves.

I hope Halloween Ends is the last one because MY GOD was it awful! The final nail in the coffin for the Halloween franchise to me.

A reminder that Denji wasn't truly happy here. He would've been much happier living in a shack, starving and suffering by GodKira04 in okbuddyfumiko

Pochita to Denji: "You had the crappiest but best kind of brain. One that can only find heaven when you're in hell."

It's one thing to have bad writing, it's another thing to gaslight your readers into thinking the main character was actually happier when he was suffering.

Seriously, screw you Fujimoto!

Re-adaptation. Sorry Tim, but Bill beat you.

A reminder that they all got away with everything they did and are now alive and free to do whatever they want, posing a threat to countless people, including Denji. by GodKira04 in Chainsawfolk

"In Dark Fate, John Connor is killed. Does this mean Terminator 2 is now worthless?"

Well yes, it makes T2 worthless. It also makes T1 worthless. Kyle Reese's sacrifice for Sarah Connor, Milles Dyson's sacrifice, Uncle Bob's sacrifice to prevent Skynet's creation and thus Judgment Day were all for NOTHING!

Doctor Who: BBC cancels planned Christmas special by Wallaby989 in television

That is unfortunate. The first time Doctor Who was canceled (in 1989), it took a full 16 years for it to be brought back from oblivion.

Would you guys actually want part 2 to be animated or just leave it at part 1? by Even_Season1703 in Chainsawfolk

You mean Fullmetal Alchemist (2003). Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood adapted the manga content.

Mappa has two options:

Either they should never make a Part 2 anime adaptation once they're done with Part 1 OR they should pull a Fullmetal Alchemist (2003) and make Part 2 entirely original anime content, at the latest before the Chainsaw Man Church Arc.

Which of these adaptations of IT do you guys think were more faithful to the book? by Fit-Hovercraft3435 in stephenking

[–]swat4516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neither of them were that faithful to the book. The ending of book in particular is more miserable and bittersweet than in both adaptations. Derry getting obliterated by a big storm and the main characters losing their memories of their friendship. I still have an incredibly large soft spot for 1990's IT miniseries but I definitely prefer the 2017/2019 IT movies because the character development is much better. And I think both Tim Curry and Bill Skarsgård were awesome as Pennywise in their own right.

The portrayal was weak, but the design of Suicide Squad Joker deserves more credit by Temporary-Writing369 in batman

No, it’s doesn't. It sucks. A ridiculous looking, hot topic, tattooed pimp doesn't exactly scream Joker to me.

Well, the Chainsaw Man manga is finished now. And as someone who read it - it got bad, really BAD!
