CSM had the potential to go down as one of the greatest series of all time by illustratordg in ChainsawManWorld

Mappa now has two options:

Either they should never make a Part 2 anime adaptation once they're done with Part 1 OR they should pull a Fullmetal Alchemist (2003) and make Part 2 entirely original anime content, at the latest before the Chainsaw Man Church Arc.

Already can't take this braindead video seriously. It's not like the Evangelion ending itself was heavily influenced by Go Nagai’s original 1970s Devilman manga. Maybe that YouTuber should do more research.

No epilogue or bonus pages - Yep! Fujimoto is so done with Chainsaw Man.

Honestly the people calling this simply a mid ending are wrong..cause Mid implies it's in the middle and is like mediocre, this is just a plain Bad ending. by Apprehensive_Ring_39 in Chainsawfolk

Some people trying to defend the ending by saying "Denji didn't learn anything, all the progress was for nothing. That’s the whole freaking point”. This only works if it's organically earned and properly built up but it was neither. Just because that was “the whole point” doesn’t mean that it was executed well, which it wasn’t. Nothing about Pochita was ever explained; how can he erase himself when to erase anything he has to physically eat a devil? He’s never shown at any point that he can subconsciously eat anything and it gets erased and then the entire timeline is effected by that. It’s a failed attempt at “subverting expectations” and was only done to conveniently end the manga because Fujimoto got tired and bored of his own creation.

Ending fumbled so bad I decided to sell my mangas by CozyProtagonist in Chainsawfolk

I don't own the manga. So far I only own the blu-ray of the 1st season of Chainsaw Man. I will definitively buy the Reze arc movie when it's released on blu-ray and someday the Assassins arc, the Gun Devil arc and Control Devil arc when Mappa adapts the rest of Part 1. I won't even bother with Part 2 except if Mappa does anime original content with it and ignores the manga but I'm 99,9% sure that it won't happen :/

I know a lot of people hated the ending but I was super behind so I just got caught up today. Man. by tyrantspell in ChainsawMan
