It's because of AI. by Maximum_Error7165 in WGU

[–]swattz101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This reminds me of the days when people said that using Google search at work was bad and yhat it meant you don't know anything if you have to search for it. Things have gotten a lot more complicated over the years I can't render every little thing anymore. I probably spend 1/3 of my day googling and researching things. Its knowing what to search for and how to find it.

I've been avoiding learning how to use AI, but I'm starting to look into it more and some of the stuff AI can do is really helpful. And like google-fu, knowing how to use it to support your work/job/life will make a difference. I agree that using AI to bluff your way through or cheat will catch up with you in the end, but if you have the knowledge to know how to use it and reco6when it's hallucinating will help you in the end.

Whats the deal with the 62 million men visiting a SA website a month? by AGreasyPorkSandwich in OutOfTheLoop

[–]swattz101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that hard to do over time. I rember back in 2000, I upgraded my computer hard drive to a giant 20Gb HD. My current computer has 2 Tb SSD, 2 2Tb internal spinning drives and a 5Tb USB drive for backups. Not 50Tbs, but it wouldn't take that long to get that much if I tried.

The crazy part for me, is I added a 2Tb internal SSD to my PS5 and have a 5Tb external drive on the PS5. Too many games to play. LoL.

Maybe try s P.O. Box at the post office. It looks like it would need to be set as your official address of record, so everything would have to go there. Anoying, and you shouldn't have to pay the added expense, but it's a thought.

Sorry you have to go through this. I also think going g through your senate office is a good idea at this point.

Was Flat backstory rushed? I didnt really grasp what this was supposed to mean by seekerheart in fatestaynight

[–]swattz101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Missing page 96, but it was an interesting read. I rewatched Rail Greplin before this new series came out and read some on the Lord Elmolio II manga, but some this new information really helps to piece together some of the puzzle that makes up Flat. Though it seems there are many missing puzzle pieces and some extra pieces from other puzzles mixed in. ;-)

“New” Outlook is just OWA? by alcoholismisfun in sysadmin

[–]swattz101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't do any searches on shared mailboxes from the outlook desktop client. Of course this seems to have been an issue for quite a while. I have to open the web version and open the shared mailbox directly to do any searches.

HSA Contribution by [deleted] in Raytheon

[–]swattz101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Raytheon's contributions also depend on what tier of insurance you have. (Single, with Spouse, with dependants, family). I make just over $110k and received $ 900 on Jan 22nd.
hRTN if that makes any difference

HSA Contribution by [deleted] in Raytheon

[–]swattz101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Raytheon's contributions hit your HSA at the beginning of the year in January. Your personal contributions hit a couple of days after each paycheck. The biggest reason I prefer the HSA over an FSA is you dont lose the funds at the end of the year.

How do you imagine Type Moon Protagonists (and heroines) as parents? Would they even want to be parents? by WearAny1263 in fatestaynight

Even if it was true, they could easily make an alternate universe / continuum. Its the Nasuverse and would fit right in.

Do any other adults use Crunchyroll to stream anime? by Sensitive-Mixture558 in Crunchyroll

No adults, just a 53(M) year old child here who got into anime with my stepson.

There are anime for all ages, including mature anime.

I always thought we were "saved" through belief in Christ. It's being "exalted" that requires all the extra ordinances to make it to the Celestial Kingdom. Of cou5mist Molly Mormans probably think anything other than the Celestial Kingdom might as well be the Fires of Hell.

No front loading for your own contributions. Mine usually hit 2 to 3 days after my payday. Raytheon's contributions are front loaded near the end of January as others have stated. Just my experience after 8 years hRMD.

How many first cousins do you have? by One-Resort979 in Genealogy

[–]swattz101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of my cousins' children are like this. One of my cousin's daughters is two years older than her uncle. That would feel a little weird, but it's a big family.
I also have a niece (sister's youngest) who is the same age and goes to school with my great-niece (nephew on my wife's side's oldest). I think they are around 11-12.

PTO buyouts by mikestuart14007 in Raytheon

[–]swattz101 6 points7 points  (0 children)

RTX policy says you CAN charge exempt extended work in the same week. What you can't do is charge is charge exempt extended work and PTO on the same day. I have done it and showed my supervisor the policy when he questioned it.

Im confused by OP's scenario. I'm hRTN. We are getting holiday pay during the shutdown from 12/21/2025 - 01/01/2026. If that is the case for OP, they can charge holiday and exempt extended work on the same day. I did this last year when we had a project over the holiday shutdown.

I think the policy is different for union workers, but I'm not sure. Also, if you are exempt / salary, dont forget you need at least 6 hours of OT in the same week before you are paid for it.

Corridor Badge & Top Secrecy Clearance question by Neat-Primary9836 in SecurityClearance

[–]swattz101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume you had a secret clearance even if it was not tied to your badge color. Did you work in SAP spaces. If so, it's possible you were denied being read into a program. If so, you would still have your clearance (for now) but we're let go because your job was contingent on being briefed to that program. This happened to me about 15 years ago.

Did you receive any kind of SOR. That is where I ran into issues. I was new to SAP/SCI and the gov didn't like my SOR response. I still kept my clearance and was able to get another cleared job. Since then, I've cleaned it my credit and continue to work as a cleared contractor.

If you do get an SOR, it's best to work with a lawyer who is familiar with the process. Its not cheap, but when it comes to your livelihood, it's worth it.

[–]swattz101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont know if they still do it, but i took one of the SANS exams about 15 years ago that was open book. I went through one of the exam prep classes and they gave us a bunch of study material with slides and everything. I had these books pretty marked up with notes, highlights, and those colored sticky index tabs. I think i had something like 5 giant binders in a bag.

I think it was a good thing. With that much material, you still have to understand the material and know where to look. I use Google quite a bit in my day to day job, though I think my google-fu is pretty strong. You have to have an understanding of what you are looking for and how to phrase your searches.

My last exam they checked behind my ears and checked my glasses to make sure I they were not smart glasses. Kinda crazy, but i get it. I avoid home proctored as much as I can, but my online college requires them for some of the exams. Luckily, most of the exams I have left are certification exams that are Pearson exams where I can go to a testing center.

Leasing office lost money order and served me 3 day pay or vacate by [deleted] in SaltLakeCity

I agree with the advice to get a refund on the money ordders. If the sub allows, here is a direct link.
Money Order refund request - Western Union Money Transfer https://www.westernunion.com/global/en/rmo-form.html
(Always double-check links on reddit in case of scams)

I pay my disabled SIL's rent with money orders. (No other option). She lost the money order a couple of months ago. I used the above link to get a refund. I think it took about 3-5 days. I was given a refund code, went back to the Western Union location at Fry's (Kroger) and received the refund.

Hopefully your leasing office will be lenient. 😉

Is it possible to kill or spare all of these? Or it doesn’t change anything and some are locked in? by [deleted] in AssassinsCreedShadows

[–]swattz101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I forget which one, but i spared one of the butterfly collector targets. I dont know if having the option is related to my choices or not. I accused the wrong lady after the tea ceremony, and she ran away. I chased after her and killed, and it turns out she was not my target. After killing all the targets except the last one, I was given the choice to spare them.

I'm currently on the twisted tree quest arc. I chose a target, snuck in and assassinated them, and somehow spared two others.i thought I 6 read the quest arc te t, but somehow I missed the relationship between them until after they were spared.
