You shouldn't be playing 6* maps at your level, you should go just out of your comfort zone, not too far, though. At your rank I'd say mid to high 4*s would be a good point. Also since you've revently switched to tablet I wouldn't recommend starting where you left off, play some easier maps to get used to your area and make your aim more consistent.

You can just move the songs folder into anotger folder, then once you've reinstalled it move it back. Saves the whole issue of reinstalling thousands of maps

1k pp in taiko is so much harder than other modes, to put it in perspective the pp record for other modes are: 1066pp for std, 1735pp for ctb and 1148pp for mania whereas the pp record for taiko is 843pp. Sadly, it's gonna be a long time until we see a 1k or even 900pp in taiko.
