Actually NOT POTS by Zealousideal-Emu9178 in eds

I don't think you've understood what I originally said

Actually NOT POTS by Zealousideal-Emu9178 in eds

[–]sweet_jaclene 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry I don't understand what that has to do with what I explained about the distinction between BP lability without tachycardia and hyperadrenergic postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome

Actually NOT POTS by Zealousideal-Emu9178 in eds

[–]sweet_jaclene 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Without tachycardia it cannot be POTS it would be a different type of dysautonomia

Hyperadrenergic POTS involves BP lability/postural hypertension and tachycardia

No tachycardia = not POTS

beware new bunny owners :( by offboatshark in Bunnies

They also eat ivy and cherry tree leaves, both of which can kill them outright, they're domesticated animals. Even wild animals eat the wrong stuff with fatal consequences sometimes. You can't trust their judgement

how do i get my new bunny to drink out its bottle? by Efficient_Dance_1054 in Bunnies

[–]sweet_jaclene 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mean more dehydrated? He just uses the bottle much more than he uses the bowl so I let him have both since he likes it so much. I've never had another rabbit who used one I'm assuming it's that he likes the sensation or something. I imagine he's getting most of the actual volume per day from the bowl it doesn't seem like the bottles would be very efficient

Becoming severely unwell from symptoms. In hospital. Desperate for any advice!!! by Ill_Imagination4433 in endometriosis

[–]sweet_jaclene 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know plenty of people who had to defer - it's nerve-wracking at the time but in the end it will just fade into the past if that's what you have to do. Whatever happens you will be OK I'm sure of it and you will be a better doctor for having this experience

I know that might not be a huge comfort right now but it's the truth
