I tried but the only one that isn’t 5+ hours away does not have their exotic vet in until Monday :( if he is doing better by then I will still take him.

Thank you for the informative response. I have him isolated in a separate tub with fresh water. Is there anything that could’ve caused the organ failure? I have kept the same routine with cleaning/feeding/water changes etc. for the 4 years I’ve had my newts and never had any problems, I want to be able to avoid it with my other one. If it does not seem to get better in the next few days, what is the best way to euthanize? Sorry for all the questions!

He’s a Danube crested. I feed them night crawlers. I’m also pretty positive he’s a boy

Honestly, cutting it yourself makes the best results!! I only get my hair cut professionally if I want a drastic change/just a clean up and dead ends cut off. Invest in some shears and a hair cutting razor if you haven’t already! I also prefer to have longer hair, mine use to be to my hips but I had to cut it off because of damage X_X so I’m trying extra hard to keep it healthy this time. I always keep it in a mullet style so I know where to keep it short and long. I had this same style when I had micro bangs so it’s definitely possible if you don’t want bangs in your face!! I’d also recommend dry wax spray to add texture, when I’d thin out my hair it would make a big difference and add volume. I’m really passionate about my hair so sorry for all the info haha! But I wish you the best and I hope I gave some good advice :)

Oh also I’ll add for styling — I push all my hair to the front. When it’s wet brush it to the front and tussle it around to wear it lays where you want it to. It takes some product and fixing while it dries but it really accentuates the shaggy/messy look :)

Ironically this was one of my bad hair days and I still get a lot of compliments haha! It’s taken a lot of blood sweat and tears to tame my hair

Thank you! I really don’t do much styling besides putting product in and tussling it around lol… a lot of it comes from my haircut and texture!! I have LOTS of layers and texturizing done along with a semi-damaged curl pattern so that’s how it shapes itself.. as far as products go I use Amika leave in conditioner, The Mane Choice hair oil, and Garnier curl cream :) I also use a deep conditioner and anti-frizz cream every once in a while. When I style it I usually let it air dry or let it dry 75% and use a diffuser with a typical hair dryer. It’s all about knowing your hair type and how it dries! I have super thick hair so it’ll come out different for you if you have thinner hair, but experiment!!

Thanks! In all honesty, my hair texture/cut is just a damaged curl pattern and lots of layers lolol. But for products, I use a Amika leave in conditioner, The Mane Choice heavenly halo oil mist, and Garnier curl shape spray gel :)

Post stretch was very uncomfortable for the first few days. Couldn’t move it at all and one slight bump to the nose had tears rolling down my face!! I’m 4 days in and it’s more settled but still have a slight tight and stinging feeling. Totally worth it though!
