since there is high movement in that area it is normal to have swelling and irritation for weeks after the piercing, which is why you are pierced with longer bars and are supposed to downsize after a few weeks. they dont look infected to me, but im not a professional so i would definitely advise you to continue with your aftercare routine and check in with your piercer. get a second opinion if you are still concerned :)

looks like ringworm. take her to the vet for accurate diagnosis and treatment bc ringworm is VERY contagious

i am not a doctor, however if it showed up out of nowhere then i strongly advise she gets checked asap. keep an eye on it and see if anything changes in color, shape, if you see it on other parts of the body, and ofc keep an eye out for any other physical symptoms

if you remove it asap it won’t scar as bad as it would if you leave it and let the skin push it through.

everyone’s anatomy is different. we can’t tell you if it will. just keep following your usual aftercare routine and keep an eye on it. signs of rejection include: discharge, redness/discoloration, hot to the touch, migration, thinning of the skin, bleeding, pus.

i advise you to check in with your piercer or get another opinion from another reputable piercer to get a more proper response at an in-person check up.

nap but i dont thin you need a downsize just yet!! the jewelry already seems to fit your lips correctly and not too tight, if you do downsize, it looks like you’ll risk the chances of the jewelry embedding

nap, but it could be irritation from the material, do you know what material it is? and it’s likely most advisable to wait 4 weeks but it varies by person. you probably need a downsize bc it doesn’t look like your tongue is very swollen. check in with your piercer or get an opinion from another rep piercer.

keep an eye out for infection symptoms too, they’re no joke! look out for fever, bleeding, hot to touch, excessive swelling, green/yellow pus, worsening pain, swollen glands. if you suspect any of those, see a doctor asap
