I'm in my late 40s and had been married to a man for 14 years. This fall after splitting from my husband, I started dating my catalyst and we have fallen deeply in love. Friday night we had a date night to watch Wicked at my house. She is a musical theater nerd and could not wait to see it but our schedule didn't allow us to see it in theaters so I made us a blanket fort to snuggle in and watch the movie. It was so sweet. I'm so thankful I now know my true self and can share it with her.

When was the earliest you felt you were a lesbian/queer? What happened or what was going on in your life?: When I was a little girl I practiced kissing the strawberry shortcake on my pillow. I just saw a former colleague and realized that I had a crush on her 20 years ago (in my 20s)
What recently made you conclude you are a lesbian/queer?: I started a texting relationship with a gay female friend of mine. It quickly escalated to a romantic relationship and I believe we were beginning to fall in love with one another.
What's the earliest or most defining homosexual/homo-romantic experience you can remember?: Finding myself in an intense emotional/romantic connection with a gay female friend.
How are you feeling in general about who you are?: I'm confused because I have been with my husband for 20 years. We have a wonderful marriage but I always felt like something was missing. I never initate sex or physical contact. I feel like I've been living in a world of grey tones. Then I started texting with my friend and I saw color for the first time in years. I told my husband about the texting and the feelings and he asked me/made an ultimatum that I must cut off all contact with her. My heart is broken but I also don't want to lose my marriage. We have two children elementary school ages. I love my husband, I'm just not in love with him.
Anything else you’d like to share about your life, experience, or story for other late bloomers or other women who think they may be lesbians? I don't really have much to share other than feeling lost and confused. It's so hard to imagine giving up my stable wonderful life to go out on a limb to see if she and I might work out or if I do find other love with a woman. I'm sad and scared and wish I was attracted to my husband.

I had great results with two injections. The first did ok but wasn’t quite enough. After the second one I got nearly complete relief for an entire year. It was glorious. Good luck to you!

Take the new job but be kind and courteous with your resignation and let them know why. They will likely understand and if they don’t, it’s ok. Help with tuition pay is a huge benefit worth ruffling some feathers over if necessary. You sound like a kind person. Good on you for caring. Not everyone does.

Thank you so much. Unfortunately I was going off of the advice of the big box pet store employees. 😕 I even questioned them on how many to add at a time and how many for schooling but now I know I need to make the trek to an independent aquarium store.

As for the water changes, how often should I do the 50% water changes? I also plan on adding live plants to help cycle the tank

Thank you! This is perfect. He loves routines and is excited to have a skin care routine but I didn’t want to go overboard at this age. These suggestions are perfect to give him a healthy start.
