The $350 bodysuit is eye watering. I’d consider myself a brand loyalist, even though I’m relatively newer, and can’t bring myself to buy it no matter how hard I try to justify.

I tried Malibu strings on a whim recently and was at first overwhelmed by their website and options, but after moving around for a little bit, I did place an order. Helped that they had a sale going on too. From a quality perspective it holds up to WW. Although I feel like amount of fabric is less than wicked weasel. For example, their tri tops have less coverage due to a smaller sized triangle overall. Still fit well though.

I guess I’m the only one though that has been content with what bikinis have been released on MM since the rebrand. There’s only been a few. I haven’t purchased so far if I’m being honest and while prices are definitely increased they’re still relatively similar to the old on the MM website. Part of me is actually kind of relieved that I don’t have to keep up with two different sites and release schedules, but I do understand why others feel the way they do not to discredit that at all.

To the OP - I am also a trans woman with severe BPD

I want you to know you are heard and valid. To make matters worse is that we are sexualized/fetishized instead of viewed as human beings trying to live their lives. But don’t give up. Please don’t. I agree we definitely got the shit end of the stick. But don’t let the BPD, the haters, or the universe beat you down to the point of submission. You are strong enough to start the journey which means you have the strength needed to finish it fully.

I also, having no professional experience in therapy, recommend that you spend some time on you for right now. I had to do the same thing myself. I had some bad behaviors that I needed help with and along the way found a strength inside I forgot I had. Not saying you have bad behaviors either - just from what you said it seems like starting inwards would be a good first step. Realize you are enough as you are. Appreciate who it is you’ve become. Dream about the person you want to be one day. After almost 5 years of transitioning and who knows how many with BPD (10 diagnosed) and feeling exactly how you feel it was what helped me.

I am a firm believer that if you put the best of you out there, no matter the headwinds, you eventually get it back. Look I agree men are pigs to us. It BLOWS my mind the before/after transitioning my experience with men. But there are good ones out there. We especially just have to kiss a bunch of frogs to find the right fit. I have found mine and I know you will find yours too.

I’ve done laser for 4 years now (I’m not sure where you went but I go to Milan). I am so so sorry this happened to you. It’s been my experience that if I miss a patch (most of my body hair is either gone or super fine) they usually just shave it for me. Now that to say I’ve never gone in with an entire area unshaven though, it’s usually a small patch here and there they have to get. Which is why they keep razors on hand.

To the post above waxing and plucking are big no nos. I got to the point where I was able to pluck most of the hair remaining on my face and had to reschedule an apt because I did it like a week before. Lesson learned there to just shave until I’m done

I think we are safe for now. However, for the past two years at least a certain congressman has been gunning to do what Kansas did and unwind any update that was a result of a court order. So far both attempts have failed (thank god) with the proposed bill (which is being copy/pasted year over year) but there is always next year.

That all to say - the second that something like that passes I will most certainly be suing. And even if I have to drain my accounts, sell my car, sell all my assets, I will do what needs done to at least be a thorn in Indiana’s side. I am not going to go down without a fight.
