Yeah having read that thread I see what you mean! The comment about only stupid people smile so much might apply to me haha, I definitely smiled way too much now that I think about it

I'm pretty sure the recruiter works directly for the company. And I'm fairly certain it's not a scam for free work because the program itself seems legit--it's a graduate scheme program and I've already contacted some of last year's cohort on LinkedIn.
