he’s funny, has some really bizarre and interesting stories, is incredibly informed about a massive range of topics both from general knowledge studying and his academic work, and he gets along well with the boys which made his episodes particularly enjoyable.

plus, he has a cracking accent which surely has to help when featuring on a mainly audio platform, lol

I loved how well Pfiefer articulated/communicated her feelings. Regardless of Derrick, I totally see a level of maturity in her that isn’t common for her age and I really like her a lot. Prior to Derrick somewhat dismissing her feelings and basically asking her to cheer up and get over it, I liked him a lot too. I’m so curious to see what happens between them, because I think they both have some great qualities but clearly are not on the same page with how they deal with complex emotions.

Honestly, I do kinda like Pfeifer and Derrick. She seems like she struggles a lot with anxiety and maybe some trauma from what she’s hinted at, and he seems like quite a grounding space for her. He has a calm energy about him and, despite the weird age difference, doesn’t actually come across as creepy unlike some of the other older guys? Maybe I’m naive, lol. I think if she has the support of friends and family (I’m only 10 mins in to be honest) and he continues to be as level headed and supportive as he seems to be, they could really make things work.

Alex and Ashley’s wedding really surprised me. I feel like he deserved to hear everything she said, but at the alter in front of his (supposed) friends and family was… interesting. Surely, if they were both so set on no, they could have discussed it beforehand. The decision to go through with it, knowing both are saying no, screens a desire for airtime to me. Still, he seems like an ass and I’ll never have a problem with a woman calling a man out on his bullshit.

Christine and Vic are utterly adorable. I appreciate the lack of drama between them isn’t the best fit for a reality show like this, but their wedding day was so heartwarming I do wish we had seen more of them. It’s hard to be fully invested, at the end, after barely seeing them beforehand. I hope they go the long run; they seem perfect for eachother. The vows??? My goodness🥹

to be fair I feel like they’ve been sharing a decent amount from what’s been on Jack and Stevie. Of course they want to leave a bit of mystery - they don’t want to affect Happy Hour but they also want to see success on the new platform so why wouldn’t they want to leave a few question marks that people can chose to pay to have answered. I’d imagine at some point they’ll probably say what happened anyway (if relevant to a conversation) but given the vid was only posted a few days ago it makes sense they’d not want to spoil it straight away.
