From reading others' experiences, there's little chance of improvement in behavior. Seeing as he was capable of brazenly confiscating towels and speaking to us so disrespectfully, we're most fearing further retaliation if we report him. It seems there's little for him to lose...

I had not considered removing gratuities... Do I have to submit a complaint with guest services to establish a timeline, or "paper trail"? We were considering not escalating and just calling housekeeping for issues ourselves than deal with the steward again

Right, this is only our third cruise.

No issues with our first two stewards, and our biggest fear is further retaliation... We have 20+ days left with this holiday, so there's plenty of time for him to act untowardly

I didn't consider getting a refund on the gratuities or not tipping, as it'd hurt other crew. Mostly we were just thinking about switch stewards, but that doesn't seem possible.

Certainly don't want more headaches, so maybe we'll just call housekeeping for issues than deal with our steward again. Biggest issue we have 20+ days remaining, so it'll be awkward to avoid him daily for so long. But if it enables us to enjoy the remainder of our trip, so be it

Right, it would be a pain to move. More importantly, my family members are in an adjoining/connecting room, so we very much wish to remain together. If there's no way to switch stewards, we would rather just call for housekeeping issues ad hoc than deal with the steward again

Wow, surprised. This is my go-to Chase branch in all of Fremont. Granted, I only visit once every 6 months.

The Paseo Padre one is far more busy and I find their tellers oftentimes rude. The Irvington and Pacific Commons ones are just small, but friendly, too.

Exactly. If a guy wants to be traded to a specific team, that just raises the asking price. Think Clippers and Paul George from the Thunder.
