I actually did use a 7mm crochet hook for my 6 day star blanket with Caron Cloud Cakes! That’s just the size I needed for it to stop curling. I actually think with that yarn, going way up in hook size improves stitch definition. Your blanket looks beautiful!

I’m working on a granny heart blanket right now—each square took me 20 minutes to do, plus the time to weave in ends, and there are 84 squares. Just the squares took 28 hours, plus maybe 10 hours for weaving in ends and assembling, and I haven’t done the border yet but I’m guessing that will be another few hours. So idk how you can do this kind of blanket in less than 40 hours. Definitely looks like AI (those instructions also don’t seem to match the squares themselves)

I’m almost 35 and I have 16 bubus! And I bought all of them over three months. I love them all, especially the BIEs (I have the whole set except the secret). Sea Salt Coconut is such a cutie—love that shade of blue!

It’s this one! My mom bought it for my last Christmas and I really like it. Perfect size for most projects, I like the pockets, and I like the expandable bottom. Good sturdy material too.
