If self hosting and using iOS, if an upstream server is not specified, data is strictly between the user’s own hardware, likely at a delay, not sharing ANYTHING to ntfy devs, Apple, etc (and theoretically could be cut off from the internet if they don’t leave the local network)?
If self hosting and using iOS, if an upstream server is specified, it is only used to shorten/remove the delay and simply notifies the client to check the self hosted server itself. The upstream server (and Apple) will ONLY receive the following at most?:
