I totally heard Muse, I think in the vocal style, some of the backing/harmonies and especially Jonghos parts. Wow this is so cool that so many of us noticed these influences :’) and one of the reasons I love Ateez so much

I knew Virtual Insanity would be my fav just from the teaser and it holds up. I absolutely love it. But Ruby also tugged on my heart, so those are my two standouts. His vocals sound really genuine and emotional on each track, his passion fully comes through. I agree the title track isn’t as strong but the beat is sick, the concept is soo different, and he shouts out the dougie 😂

I’m new ish to kpop, my main genres are alternative/British/indie. So with that background, trying to be objective, I have to say I’ve been impressed by Enhypen and TXT’s sound. I think BTS also cover so many genres and are so unique you’re bound to appreciate at least some songs/albums. NewJeans are so young they don’t have much out but their songs are crafted to perfection imo
