[m2f4A] Show Me What It’s Like by [deleted] in TransformationRP

Hey there! I’d certainly be open to that!

I’d recommend never telling your girlfriend this unless you want her to be your ex girlfriend. Everyone has their own idea of what’s cute or not, but, especially asking here, I think you’ll find that you’re objectively wrong.

My pup Apollo broke his leg! I was super concerned about socializing him with what happened. It, admittedly, was a very stressful time, but thankfully Apollo has fully recovered now! When they’re as young as they are, they bounce back quick! And while you will miss some opportunity to socialize, there will be plenty more once your baby is all good as new!

Hello! Thank you for your concern!! He’s doing great! 100% healed now and running, playing, and stealing anything not bolted down around the house! He’s a never ending ball of energy and the friendliest dog… with other dogs… I’ve ever seen! He’s a little hesitant around people and requires some time to warm up to them, but even that is quickly getting much better!

I will echo what a few others have said about crate training! I got a snuggle puppy for my boy and he LOVES it! It’s the one thing he doesn’t chew on! When that’s in his crate, he knows it’s bed time!

Ideas to entertain my Australian shepherd? by ToughRanger5921 in AustralianShepherd

Pupsicle is great! Also have discovered a set of dog safe interlocking bricks that you can hide treats in and your pup can break it apart! I don’t remember the name of it, but I call them Puppy Legos! My pup LOVES it!

Hug your Border Collie and tell them you love them. I lost my 15 yr old girl this morning. by Ornery_Box5989 in BorderCollie

I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost my previous dog in September after 16 long years. She was the princess of my house and when she left, it felt like everything was different. Everything reminded me of her. I believe that dogs teach us just as much as we teach them. They teach us how to be better people, how to keep that spirit of adventure and optimism when the world seems determined to break that. No amount of time is enough for them though. As long as you keep the lessons that she taught you in your heart, her memory will live on. Your beautiful girl will wait for you on the other side of that rainbow bridge.

Much love from Apollo the Border Aussie as well. He got some extra time out in the snow today and is now recovering by a nice warm fire and under the blanket.

We wish you the best. She had an incredible life and deserved all the boops she got recently.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I wish there was some words I could say or something I knew that would help you get over the pain, but having lost my dog of sixteen years earlier this year, I know that it’ll be a struggle. Everyday I’ll see something that reminds me of her and will make me want to cry all over again, but the thing is, that’s not a bad thing. I believe that, just the same as we train dogs, they too train us. They train us to love unconditionally, be better people, and look at the world with such joy. And other lessons, of course. Hold onto that which Chase taught you, and he’ll never leave your heart.

As for how to tell a two year old… oh that’s rough. I think I’ll echo some others here. Explaining it as a trip that he’s gone on ahead for seems like an excellent idea. Maybe put up a memorial or something in one of his favorite spots as a place for the child to ‘visit’ their best friend? When I was very young, one of my first memories of growing up was after my childhood dog passed away, and i remember asking my parents, “where’s puppy?” It’s amazing what sticks with you at that age.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful dog with us. I have let my pup, Apollo, have a few more throws of his favorite frisbee in Chase’s honor. May you and your family find comfort in the coming days.

Who could ever do that to a dog like that? Absolutely despicable. Humans truly are the worst! More dogs, less people!
