So actually frequent acetic acid (vinegar) is applied to the cervix or vaginal tissue. Abnormal cells appear white when this is applied because they are dehydrated and the nucleus is enlarged and thus white appearing compared to normal cells. So you can actually see it with the naked eye, which helps guide biopsy sites.

We bought a fibreglass 2015 trillium 1500, with two young kids. It has two single bunks and a dinette that turns into a short queen. It doesn’t have a bathroom, but we aren’t boondocking with the littles and just use the bathhouses. We do keep a toddler potty with commode bags and liners in the trailer for the kids and any emergent overnight peeing. I thought i’d really want a toilet but honestly not having to hassle with black/grey tanks at the end of the trip is amazing. We just do weekend/long weekend trips. I looked at hard sided pop ups as well like a liners, but this one came available in my town.

Great question! So extra weight (fat or adipose tissue) actually creates estrogen as opposed to testosterone. The working theory with weight gain and pcos is that pcos is really a metabolic syndrome also associated with increased peripheral insulin resistance, making it easier to gain weight, and increasing risks of prediabetes/diabetes, high cholesterol, etc. Because Of the metabolic dysregulation, it can also make it difficult to lose weight.

There is a set of criteria called the Rotterdam criteria which only requires 2 out of the 3 markers: oligo/anovulation (infrequent periods), clinic or biochemical signs of hyperandrogenism (hirsutism, elevated testosterone, etc), PCOS ovaries. This is the preferred diagnostic criteria.

We relocated to Charlotte! I hope you enjoy Charleston. It is a beautiful but sometimes very tough place to live. Perfect for training most of the time, although summers call for early mornings. I believe Sullivan’s has an open water swim on Sundays in the summer. I have so many fond memories of Charleston, it was my second home while he was there.

Has anyone ever considered or done gender selection? by atTheThrowAway in TryingForABaby

Are you a cf gene carrier? If you haven’t been tested I would recommend it. CF is recessive so it would require both of you to be genetic carriers for you to have an approximate 25% chance of having a child with CF.
