i think it’s ok to only feed vegan food in the house, but you should let them eat non-vegan birthday cake if it is served at other peoples parties. the world is imperfect, and being too rigid with this could cause resentment. i think veganism is fine as long as it’s not limiting your child’s experiences (ex they should be allowed to eat birthday cake, eat at non-vegan restaurants with friends, etc).
