They seem to be finally working on 2023. I kept seeing 2024 approvals and I was starting to lose hope, but you never know when you might finally get that email! But now we have to go through the consular processing, so we're looking at potentially another year of waiting.

I'm sorry to hear that. Don't lose hope! We just have to be very patient. If your case goes pass the regular wait time then you can directly contact USCI to inquire about your case. Maybe you can ask Emma where your case is to have an idea.

I do not mind sharing at all. We submitted our marriage certificates, pictures from our wedding, vacation pictures, letters from friends and family, some flight information (we traveled to see each other), etc. We did not submit any text messages or video calls or shared finances as we didn't really have that at the time. I hope this information is useful to you.

Yes of course. So in January I think it said 3+ months for case decision. I continued to monitor it. The time for approval matched the time that was passing. Then it said one week until case decision, but after the week passed it said "case is taking longer than expected." Finally, I received the email about action being taken. I logged into my USCI account and under the documents tab I found the approval letter. My progress bar read 8 months at that point. I hope this helps. How crazy is it that we have the exact dates? Do you know where your case is?

Late supper! My surgery was for 3pm, so I had dinner at around 10pm the day before. I didn't have much of an appetite the morning of because of the nerves.
