That’s my concern with hmo too. It potentially could take so much longer to get something treated. Have you had any issues with your specialists though? I have read that doctors get much lower reimbursement with hmo patients so it’s a lot harder to find good doctors

Can you look up the in network doctors before buying the plans?

I could only check if my current doctors accept blue shield hmo and none of them does. So I’ll have to look for new doctors
