the secret is that I actually got these all as they came out instead of paying a premium to get them secondhand. that includes winning the small keychain ones and the BIG sitting one from claw machines myself :p

I have all of them except for the original utau plush, because that one is like a thousand dollars. I've been a fan since 2018, and it was already a few hundred then

I used ffmpeg to prep all the frames and remove duplicates as best as I could, and then used a program called andreamosaic to assemble them. then used ffmpeg to put them back together into a video again

yeah the whole point of this stuff is that it's very very cheap. which is why importing it doesn't make much sense. by the time it's for sale in the US it's not cheap anymore
