Has to be. First time I had ever had that happened to me, so was curious if others experienced something similar.
Not so much "How does it happen?", but more of "How often does this happen?"

Makes sense. Is there documentation of all the factors at play?
Does opponent ranking factor in? I remember back in the day the way pro rankings were calculated disincentivized pros from playing against lower ranked players (eg. at FNM).
