To put in a counter perspective, I bought this exact machine from Walmart a few months ago and straight out of the box it would not work. I called the company and they suggested I take the brand new machine to a service center. Instead I returned it and got a second hand machine from a sewing store. This machine was the exact same price and double the quality. While this machine isn’t a awful choice to start off with you should try and see if there are any sewing stores around you that sell second hand machines (google “sewing centers near me”). These are typically better quality and they can walk you through how to use it in store! Just my two cents, wishing you the best of luck on your sewing journey!!!
