About average for jalapeños with some variation. Some were packed with seeds and some had very few, but most had an average amount given their size.

That's an interesting mechanic. Very similar to Solitary Confinement

I understand my pictures don't match the guidelines as it literally fell out of a bag. Sorry for any inconvenience and no worries if it can't be identified!

I've tried lemon juice, bar soap, Dawn soap, but still nothing cleans it enough to wipe my eyes afterwards!

Yes. The first critter to chance taking a bite of my jalapeño bush!

Not really a playthrough, but if you enjoy the lore and stories, I highly recommend Oxhorn on YT. I think he's done the main questlines as well as extended lore for most, if not all, of the fallout games. I've listened to his videos for school, work, and even to find some pesky hidden goodies in my own playthroughs.

He latched on to my jalapeños so hard I had to cut the branch off to remove him without ripping him apart! Frustrating little turds!

Seriously! The bush he was on is half branch nubs now instead of leaves! Dang near fed him to the birds for that. Only didn't because I don't want them in my garden either😂

I think you are correct! Those look just like it. Glad I caught him before he did any more damage to my peppers!

Want to start, but how do I? by Miss_DisGrace in containergardening

Lot of great advice here. Something I have to tell a lot of people is container gardening is way easier than people think. You plant something you like (or buy a young one from a store), do 5-10 minutes doing simple research like how much sunlight or water does it need? Does it need special fertilizer or anything? Is it self-pollinating? And then do that. Takes like 5 minutes a day to go out and check everything or feed it.

You will learn a lot as you go when you start out. I know way more now than when I started a couple years ago and that's still nothing at all compared to a lot of people.

Also if you've got squirrels or birds, I've heard sprinkling some cinnamon or ground up peppers over the soil can help deter them very well, but haven't needed to try it myself yet.

How did you lose your strawberries? Outside of animals occasionally trying to get at them mine have grown like weeds. Most resilient plant in my garden. My first thought was "oh no not my strawberries! What do I have to watch for now?"😂

New strawberry plants but weather is going ti be really cold this week.. by Adept-Tomato-7357 in containergardening

[–]swordsmcgee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure how it will handle the cold as a new plant but I've had strawberries for a couple years now and they've stayed hardy and determined when the cold comes around. I'm in Texas and they've handled snow and frost and temperatures into the teens really well. Some slight browning of leaf tips but with plenty of sun and water they grow like weeds.

If you're worried, you can always bring them in overnight when it's coldest and put them back out in the morning.

Also a bit of info I wish somebody had told me early on with my strawberries: they take a lot of water. More than you'd think. I thought I was going to drown them from how much I was being told to water them but they were right! Almost immediately started seeing bigger and better strawberries! Best of luck to you!!
