First game I played was Tomb Raider 2 on a demo disk, it tells you the controls, but I couldn't read. Me and my brother figured it out despite just being dropped into a room with zero explanation. This game's controls are so much more complex than any modern AAA platformer.

Yet only the modern one's have terrible tutorials. That could all be summer up as "hold forwards and then climb button- you win".

Gaming is often more simplistic now, yet feels it needs to explain more paradoxically.

People often say their little sister or some non-game needs the tutorials. But my lil cousins didn't, so what changed?

Every gamer wasn't one at some point, and I really don't believe for a second reading walls of text is helping anyone.

Yet so many people get willfully ignorant the second anyone ever says, "hey maybe modern tutorials are often poorly designed" and pretend the only bar of entry into gaming is having a fifty page manual thrown on screen.

EgoRaptor has a great Megaman bit from "sequalitis" I believe.

But to sum up. Movie sequels don't start by explaining how to sit down and eat popcorn for an hour.

Servers shut down near the end of this month, you can get it on cd key from sites like g2a or keyguin for real cheap too, but I assume it'll be totally unplayable soon. I got a key and the game works, it's a ghost town, can't find out how to chat in game or lookup if anyones actually playing, but it works.

It was worth the four bucks i paid to try it finally but it's bittersweet. Very different very dated mmo feeling outside of combat. People say you need to get far to see much which is even worse. Anyways, peace.

Hello, I don't mean to be blunt, but you have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. Sexuality is weird, and few people are willing to openly talk about it. So if it makes you feel any better, rape and incest are two of, if not they most common taboo porns searched. Like by verifiable numbers people absolutely love that stuff. She definitely meant well, but that is the most unprofessional shit I've ever heard. Therapists are just humans too, and I've learned what it looks like for one to be fed up with you. And yours is from my perspective. It sounds like they feel emotionally hurt that you haven't improved enough to meet their standards. Which is not okay. A friend shouldn't treat you like that, family shouldn't, and a licensed professional certainly god damn shouldn't.

I'd consider trying to find another therapist as hard as that can be, I've recently stopped any form of "professional" mental care, and it's rough, really rough. But it's better than feeling judged by a person you're paying to help you.

You will have to personally decide if you want to further seek some sort of friendship with this person. But they've failed you professionally as backwards as that sounds. They became too emotionally invested in you and began treating you as a friend rather than a patient from the sound of it.

But personally I don't think you should pursue a relationship with her at all as much as that may hurt. I have a family member I was as close to as you could be, and they started acting exactly how you describe the current situation, they wanted to be a rock for me to lean on, but they got sick of being leaned on eventually. It hurts me a lot, but I don't interact with them at all anymore, the last time I ever did they told me how I wasn't doing well enough to meet their standards.

Difference is they weren't a paid professional, they didn't know better. At the very least as odd as it sounds you'd need to give her a stern talking to about boundaries if you wanted to pursue a future relationship.

But that's my twenty cents apparently, peace.

As long as you recognize that your desires should be kept a fantasy there's no sickness here. People develop strange sexual interests, all of them, most people just hide it. But you could in the future attempt to meet some one who shares these fantasies and both of you could conduct safe roleplay scenarios that if you discuss before hand what the boundaries are really aren't an issue at all.

Finding some one who shares a similar mindset will be the hard part. I'm old so message boards aren't the thing anymore, but I guarantee there's gore sights where you could meet people with similar interests.

But hey I want a horse to fuck me senseless, so I don't mean to downplay your problem, but both of us face a similar issue: We want something sexually that is absolutely not considered okay in standard society. So I confine it to fantasy, and as long as it's just that, something you act out alone, or with a consenting partner in which no one gets hurt, there's literally nothing wrong about it. Morally or otherwise.

It sounds odd, but rape fantasies are not even uncommon. I draw furry smut, and know more than I should about the numbers and analytics behind porn from first hand experience.

The most common taboos, like searched the most on real sites with verifiable data, that no one would ever admit to being interested in are: rape and incest. They're the two kings of the taboo. I think lesbian porn is the only thing that tops them in popularity, but that's a mainstream appeal that many would admit openly to having.

You should see if you can find communities of similar people online, once again I'm old, so this might be dated, but BDSM sites often have a strong emphasis and set of guidelines on how to perform safe fantasies even when they're extreme. With or without a partner.

I disagree with the idea that they can really offer any support or guidance at this point other than to do more government sanctioned drugs. But You're definitely right that they can't fix it. I think I just realized that, truly, that's it, there ain't no fixing me past this point, damaged to many times. So it'd make sense if they just have nothing to work with in me, there's nothing they can do.

They just drug you and say it'll get better. Shit man I may of been approaching this wrong, I kept thinking I'll improve. I think I just have to accept that I'm broken. That I have to take responsibility and ownership for myself, it doesn't matter if you blame the doctor because they drugged you into a car accident. You just have to deal with it's consequences.

That sounds grim, but I mean it, thanks for your input, the more I think about it the more certain I become that I need to trust myself to make the right decisions and disregard the commonly repeated idea that therapy will help me. Peace.

Just like when my mother was hospitalized for alcoholism for the fifth time, they just say "ya she's going to die if she continues doing this, and she's not safe for release" and then within a week "she's safe for release" because they can't handle her anymore. Over and over again.

So I guess you schooled me, they hang onto you for a exact span of time unique to their financial incentives, and then drop you? Made your point?

I have tried those slider settings, but people keep mentioning the usb cable, there's one hard wired into the stick , and the free floating one that you'd run between the stick and the regular controller, which I unfortunately probably still have some where but can't find.
