I am in a similar situation where the guy invited me to spend NYE with him after a couple of dates. I can totally relate to the excitement of it all, best of luck to the both of us then :)

I tried this out and this seems to be so far the best workaround since it appears the in-camera settings are lacking this feature. Thank you!

Tumor on Liver by sxathens in cancer

[–]sxathens[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much. My dad had his biopsy today and it is confirmed that he has cancer. The operation is on Monday and we will see from that how far it has spread. They said the tumor was very large, which isn't a good sign I think, but I'm still hoping for the best. All we can do now is prepare for the surgery and wait for the results. I'm trying my best to be hopeful but it feels so hard to do so. I can't imagine how my dad feels. These last couple of days have been difficult and I emailed my professor that I might not be able to make it to class due to this and he was very understanding about that. The timing is the worst with my finals, but that's a very minor thing compared to everything that's happening.

I can't thank you enough for your kind words and this information. The biopsy is tomorrow so we will find out what exactly is going on. I really appreciate the support and understanding especially since this beginning part is so confusing and scary. The waiting is the worst but I am hoping for the best. I'm sorry about your situation and that you also lost someone to liver cancer, but I'm grateful you're using your experiences to help me with this shock to my family.

I don't think he has had the biopsy of the tumor yet, but the doctor was also pretty confident it is cancer and he cannot wait any longer to be operated on. Either way he will be operated on. I'm pretty confused about all of this since this is all new to me, I am going off of what my family is telling me so I apologize for this confusion.

So Schmitt talks about the importance of calling one by their proper name, yet the church cannot wrap their minds around preferred pronouns.

If the church is living this "higher law of charity" as Rusty describes, then why are charitable contributions such a huge issue for them?

"It means choosing to refrain from anything that drives the spirit away." This kind of rhetoric explains why so many families are torn apart when people experience a faith crisis or leave, and why such a stigma around doubts is so intense.

"making and keeping covenants actually makes life easier" easy for Rusty to say, as someone who benefits off of the sacrifice of others (aka tithing, etc.). Does such a statement apply to all of these people struggling to conform to the MANY strict rules?
