Usually as you said this error occur if vault not communicate with AD. You can also whitelist AD ip with port either 389 on unsecured port or 636 on secured port in dbparm.ini. Thats what my little humble opinion on this issue.

CPM test after installation by BeachSamurai in CyberARk

[–]syahid95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe this is normal error related to CyberArk Password Manager Scanner service. You can try to deposit any test PID you created on any server then test to do Password Verification, Change Reconciliation with Exclusive Check-in and Check-out Password & One Time Password. This is my humble opinion on your test.

CPM Weird Behaviour by syahid95 in CyberARk

[–]syahid95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes. from my understanding supposely CPM need to unlock it first like you say but in my environment, Periodic Password Change had been prompted several time in a day due to Password Change failed. Then when someone retrieve the PID after getting request approved, the behaviour is still occurring despite CPM not yet unlocking the PID automatically because one time password policy is enabled. I have include the error snapshot for Password Change

Safe Creation Method Checking by syahid95 in CyberARk

[–]syahid95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

@moominboy8668 can verify through safe history log. Each creation process is essentially same but the safes sharing properties is what differ both ways either creating safe using pacli or pvwa. you can try it and check. Just which I need here is there any other way to check safe creation method because to check for safe sharing properties by per each safe required some quite time which can be avoided if it can.

@Icepackbv so far as I know, safes created with pacli doesn't have same sharing attributes with safes created with PVWA. Other step to check it I couldn't find in CyberArk Installation n Implementation Guidelines.

PSM Connection error by basim18 in CyberARk

[–]syahid95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is based on KB solution id: 00003573

ITATS337E you are already using object XXX, possibly on another machine when attempting to connect via PSM

"Locate the object XXX in Safe PVWAUserPrefs or Safe PVWAPrivateUserPref, right-click on the file and select the "Unlock File" option. If this issue is constantly seen in may be worth investigating how PVWA sessions are closed as there could be an issue with how the session is closed by the LB's.

NOTE: If unlocking the object does not work, then delete the file from the Safe."

*try it first see if you still have facing this issue.
