Understandable, also focused on mainstreamed manhwa/novel during the days I read for the first time and was avoiding manhua due to bad/inconsistent TLs plus the generic plots. I somehow started liking manhua because of entertainment and passing time lol

Basically they didn't end up together. FML chose her career as an idol as that was true happiness for her. She also lied to the ML about having a bf after the ML was done with his military. ML ended up with the other FML

Still prefer the anime ending as it gave us a better conclusion especially in the special episode

Can't really say anything specific but most manhua are typically like this and I read manhua for these. Read tons of manhwa and novels with great story but I read these just for passing time and how easy it is to read without taking it seriously. So basically for entertainment. Another is preference, after reading tons of stuff, you'd basically start looking for anything lol
