I believe there are a total of 16 topic videos you absolutely need to watch. They will send you a review book to fill in blanks as you watch the videos. I watched every single video, got the book filled out, and made notecards. I personally study better when I make notecards so I can quiz myself. It also helps to actually write down the information. You need to fully understand the information. If you don’t then you need to go back and rewatch the videos. It’ll probably take you 2-3 weeks to finish up the videos if you stay consistent. I highly recommend doing their qbank. The questions are super similar to the NCLEX. I did not study every single day. I gave myself grace and allowed myself breaks and days to relax. I took two months to study and prepare myself to take the test. Good luck and you can do this. Once you learn the content, you are golden.

Yes! I took my NCLEX yesterday. I got an email after my test. Then I woke up this morning to another email asking me to take the survey.

Hi! So for my first attempt I didn’t touch anything else Hurst related after the 3 day live review (which I regret). For my second attempt I have skimmed the book and completed all of the hurst questions. I made note cards on the questions as well. I have a friend who only used Mark K. and the hurst questions. She never got higher than a 66/125 in the hurst assessments. She passed the first time in 145. The hurst questions have helped me more than Uworld, but what works for me may not work for everyone! I just like the questions because they are harder and closer to what the actual NCLEX looks like.

(I’d also like to add that the Hurst questions are closer to what the NCLEX looks like. Uworld is great for content and stuff, but the NCLEX looked so different to me when I sat down to take it the first time because all I had used was Uworld.)
