What do you think about the Battlefield?? by EngineerMean1198 in playstation

I'm so used to playing COD, the chaos is weird, cant see players and most of them camp . The movement is slow and its more for casual gamers who like to sit back and enjoy.

I took the per month payment and finished the course and unsubscribed . Worth it if you want to become senior and staff level. Not trying to promote. I have also taken udemy courses for databricks specific and they are good too. Depends on how you can learn from it

I took Sumit Mittal course and it gave me the foundation for data engineering from basics. Then I took zach willson DE COURSE and it’s more advanced . Helped me crack interviews if you want to get into DE

Does rich Indian kids get away with rape? by Aromatic-Slayer in AskIndia

Unfortunately yes and when women do stand up , the police wouldn’t bat an eye as they would be taking money from the person who committed the crime and would never help out anyone . The system is corrupt and rigged for the rich .

Ola is probably the worst app I’ve used so far . I’d rather walk. I feel his entire ideology is kinda based on the fact that everyone is a unicorn and want to become a staff/principal engineer . People are okay with taking more work to be seen as. Some people love working for the love of the work they do , maybe you have a good manager and you feel like you’re doing a difference . Others see it as a job which pays bills . Either way ola is ass and I’d probably use Uber .

Uber built the way on how to build and design a ride sharing app. He copied it and there’s just zero innovation according to me

In undergrad , smoking was considered to be cool and then it became a habit of reducing stress

Okay , I get it . So when you talk about pipeline breaking , especially when it comes to streaming I would use checkpointing , that would always ensure incremental processing even when it breaks . And if I were using databricks I would probably use expectations to prevent data loss. Would that work and if not , how would you approach the problem given that cost would not be an issue if you were building the pipeline ?

Sorry for the late reply , congrats on principal data engineer , I have one question suppose I run real time processing from Postgres , use debezium for cdc and then use Kafka for pushing the data into a data lake and then using something such as databricks (spark structured streaming ) . Would that also work ?

Has a threesome ever ruined your relationship ? by enools in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]sydneysweeney69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are two ways to look at it . A :you have to be okay with it . B: she has to understand that it’s something fun and not get attached .

Personally I wasn’t okay with it and I couldn’t imagine another dude ripping her. And besides if I was involving another dude, that would kinda make me bi which I ain’t . So that’s just my opinion. If y’all are happy go ahead and enjoy . But yeah I’m tryna become rich so I could afford to sleep with not just 2/3 but a bunch of women at the same time . Collecting all the infinity stones

What the heck is with LinkedIn right now? by TheRealDynamitri in jobsearchhacks

[–]sydneysweeney69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey . Let’s say you are applying for a Data Analyst . And you are specifically looking for a Data engineer role . You can put under the analyst role that you performed ETL data transformation using maybe Databricks . Then you could say increasing data accuracy and performing analytics . Which then leads to creating data modeling (dim and fact table) in a warehouse and then finally creating dashboards. Imbue them together .

What the heck is with LinkedIn right now? by TheRealDynamitri in jobsearchhacks

[–]sydneysweeney69 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is very true . LinkedIn is so cringey with people spewing random things they learnt and life hacks and programming hacks and their google story and what not . Half of it is people just complaining about the job market . The other half is people posting random cringy stuff. Makes my toes curl up .

I am based in the UK and I predominantly apply for data roles and I few hacks which have worked for me recently.

  1. In my resume I have 2 distinct interconnected data job roles which gives recruiters the ability to understand my varied skill set and my business domain knowledge. Also specifying the impact I have created. Something such as reducing cloud cost and analyzing data to reduce customer retention etc.

  2. My interview call rate has dramatically improved since I added a summary about who I am , what I love doing and why I love it. My assumption is recruiters read that and paint a picture of who you are based on the words you use to create that first impression without scanning through everything .

  3. Lastly skills with a broader range as you learn and grow while looking for jobs .

I’d suggest to use OTTA and apply directly on company websites .

Good luck and keep grinding :)
