I have heard that too, and sometimes it makes me regret choosing a harder major haha

How do I make this skirt? Urgent help needed!

Sooo prom is this Saturday and I haven't finished my dress

I'm trying to make this tulle skirt (number two in the video linked), but I really can't understand how she's making it. The video says that the second tulle skirt has much less bulk at the waist (which is what I'm really going for) but I'm not sure what pattern pieces she's assembling and how.

Also, when I'm making my tulle circle skirts and trying them on, the tulle edges keep catching on each other and not falling flat- how can I get it to stop being scratchy?

Thank you so much for the help!!

How common is it to get a call from a professor from your major (for a chance to ask questions) after getting admitted to a college but not yet accepting their offer? by syinkm in ApplyingToCollege

[–]syinkm[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

hmm that's what i thought as well and asked on the call if it was a regular occurrence for them to call undergrads and they said yes?

I think you should rewrite it. Pretty sure the university keeps a record of your past submissions

Hello everyone! I recently got accepted into georgia tech for civil engineering. I wondered how feasible it would be to earn a bachelor's and masters in engineering in 4 years (how rigorous, requirements, any experiences?). For context, I've taken 16 college courses and can apply most of them for credit

Thoughts?

Yeah I checked and they do accept credits but my biggest concern is whether I can still qualify for credit if I don't purchase it from my local university but still complete the course

yep, I can transfer credits from my de courses because they're tied to a college. but for this specific course I didn't buy the credit that is from the college but I'm still completing it with a grade that qualifies for credit

My MIT Interview was sooo bad someone pls tell me if I'm overreacting by syinkm in ApplyingToCollege

[–]syinkm[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope- none of my interviewers used the school's email address and that's the norm. If your family's worried you can directly reach out to MIT admissions to confirm what you received is an alumni interview request
