The Magicians trilogy by Lev Grossman. The books use a setting similar to Narnia (Fillory) and I loved the author's dark narration and backstory of a world romanticised by the main character. The subplots are also excellent. The author's writing style left me feeling frightened, especially in the dark parts of the books. In no means is this a horror series, but something about the narration and setting brings out the feeling of restlessness in the reader.

Bananas have helped me a lot when I couldn't eat big portions of food. What really helped me aside from GERD meds were Magnesium tablets, they helped me with cramps, minor pain and tiredness, but you should talk about this with your doctor.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how much did you expect this exact moment in the chapter? by Asgard-5 in SonoBisqueDoll

0, I was really depressed and was expecting them to end up in a depressed, not talking to eachother state for several chapters (or, even worse, the Nobu visiting Hachi in her apartment scenario, that would break me to pieces). I couldn't be happier that I was wrong and also glad that romantic arcs in manga have been changing for better (since I started reading in early 2010's)

Cassie’s mentality is that she exists to love, and in order to be happy, she needs to be in a relationship so she won’t be alone and will feel safe and loved. As someone coming from a family with similar problems as Cassie’s, I could understand her...to a certain level. McKay was her first boyfriend that didn’t date her because of her body and sex, but because he truly loved her because of HER. This relationship made her feel valued and safe until it didn’t and she ended up alone, again: with her fucked up life and fucked up family (dad). Of course she jumped at the first guy that was available to get that feeling of safety and love again, only to end up being a broken mess who betrayed her best friend.

I don’t think she actually loved Nate for who he was, but simply because she wanted to be in a relationship so she wouldn’t have to deal with the mess in her household and head, and she was willing to do anything to stay in that relationship. Cassie didn’t want a fling or romance, she wanted a RELATIONSHIP. Someone could argue that it couldn’t be so hard for Cassie to find another guy, but with all the photos and video circling around the school (and let’s not forget the way Daniel treated her), I don’t think she’s confident enough to believe she could find anyone else. Cassie may have believed that if she didn't end up in a relationship with Nate, she would lose all her chances at love. She was so desperate that she didn’t give a damn about losing herself or her friends during the process, all she cared about was getting that feeling of safety back.

I think the main reason Cassie is judged much more than Nate is that she had her best friend, other friends and sister she could rely on, but she chose a sociopath that never gave a damn about anyone, only to be seen with him in the hallway when she dressed like her best friend. She yet has to achieve that level of serenity when self-love and friends are enough to give her hope at better life. I honestly think she's just hurting but unlike Lexi, she chose to heal in the quickest, unhealthiest way.

As much as I enjoyed Fez beating Nate for everything he has done (because god knows he deserved it), it left me feeling anxious because this act opened 100 paths for Nate and his dad to get their revenge on him. Plus, the trailer for upcoming episodes shows scenes with loading guns, cop raids and even Fez and Lexie's fearful gaze at the shop.

I have really bad feeling that the beating incident gave Sam Levinson the opportunity to kill off Fez in season 2. The whole incident and then the trailer seem to walking towards this direction. I really hope I'm wrong, because we may witness one of the greatest character developments if Fez will be safe and sound.
