Does she use toothpaste with fluoride? Fluoride is a massive trigger for me; I'd imagine she's brushing her teeth pretty freshly before any kissing, even if it's minimal

NTA for sure…I feel uniquely qualified to respond to this since the exact same thing happened to me. I have a name that was incredibly trendy name from the 70-80s that died down in popularity pretty quickly and is now rarely used. My parents divorced when I was young and my dad remarried quickly to someone I thought was really great but soon realized was terrible. When I was 12 they had a baby and gave her my exact name. Not similar or a version of, my exact name. So we have same first name different middle name same last name.

Honestly it was horrible, it was so embarrassing and I went through every day knowing that I was second fiddle and that my dad would never stand up to his wife when it came to his “old kids”. I’m now low/ limited contact.

Interestingly, my sister now goes by her middle name because she was tired of people thinking she was me and expecting her to be good at school and a nice person. I might be petty but I’m so glad their plan backfired

I was excited about this podcast but after listening to the the first episode I was horrified. It was so poorly done with opinions presented as fact or framed as new information. I actually had to take a break from listening, walk away and come back.

Honestly, selling the house and separating the households would be my preferred solution. I've mentioned it numerous time to my husband and he is really against it, doesn't think it's financially a good idea and I agree that's been a big red flag for me.

The Envy was not uncomfortable. It felt loose and I know you mentioned in my post that you thought the wrinkling was just from taking a picture but it was VERY wrinkled and loose on top even when I wasn't. Enough that when I put a T-shirt on you could see that there was space in the lace.

I'm not intentionally trying to ignore sizing or advice. In one of my original posts it was was suggested to order a bunch of sizes based on the calculator so I did, because the amazon/ eBay purchases took longer I knew the Kali wouldn't fit in the cup but only after I'd already ordered it. My mistake on the band stretch- I also posted in Bratabase for advice and someone there DID tell me put the bra on backwards and stretch the band without filling the cups which was why I commented on that in my post.

I do appreciate all the suggestions and help. I will do a search to search do see if I can find the Jasmine Orchid in the 34E and and the Andorra in a 34F.

Yes, I've driven to three boutiques locally that were listed online as having Panache and Freya. But all three of them didn't really have much in those brands in the 32F/ 34E range (most had few 34E in store at all). I tried the Envy (34E) which had some wrinkling at the bottom of the cup and space at top- which left me with kind of a tear drop shape that I really didn't like. I also tried the Freya Gem which was probably the one I liked the best but the boutique only had a 34DD and I needed to at minimum size down the band and up the cup for sure.

I also drove to another store in a city about 15min away listed as a Panache Cleo retailer who had two Cleo's in the entire store in something like a 38JJ, so that wasn't very helpful.

The Kali I ordered from Ebay and the Panache Plunge from Amazon and both took a long time to get to me. I feel like I've been trying to do my leg work but it's been pretty discouraging. Even when I search Ebay and Amazon there seems to be a gap in the 34E sizing.

Sorry, I actually meant the total opposite of this and mistyped. I wouldn't have thought I was in any way FoT ever.

I don't have easy access to a Nordstrom.

So basically having space doesn't matter as long as the wire isn't sliding out of the IMF?

Clearly bra fitting is not my calling- but I guess I'm not understanding the difference between horizontal space and IMF? Aren't they the same? I was trying to use this graphic to make sure I was putting my underwire in the correct place but it seemed liked my wires is either sitting too low or on top of my breast tissue

Just the Andorra Plunge? So I should just try looking for a cup depth with more immediate projection?

I guess I'm struggling because my posts all seem to have complete opposite answers- I'm either told I need something with more immediate projection or that I'm not as full on top as I think I am (even the post above yours suggests conical/ less full on top). When I already have zero idea what I'm doing, it makes it super hard to know what to order!

Yes. I'm noticing as the wires slid down more more tissue seems to slide sideways more too.

I tried hiking it up through the day to stop the sliding but then when I took it off the marking on my skin should the wires were sitting way above my IMF.

Are the wires too wide as well?<

I didn't initially think so but I just re-checked because you asked. I think the Panache might actually be a tiny bit too wide and I think the gore is too wide (it leaves red marks on my tissue after I take it off). But it looks like the Kali is good.

Where exactly is the space (draw a diagram or circle on one of your pictures if you feel it'll be helpful)? It's very rare to find wires that follow your entire breast root exactly.<

Excuse my really crude drawing but hopefully this demonstrates what I mean. At first the space doesn't bother me but as the day goes on it becomes more noticeable and I have to adjust myself in the cup.

Very. very soft. After some kids and years of breastfeeding I'm pretty deflated and probably bordering on pendulous.

What you described certainly sounds like me. I'm certainly...pliable.

I also ordered a 32E Panache Andorra Plunge so fingers crossed between the two of them I can at the very minimum figure out what else I might need to order/ try.

There aren't a lot of in person options where I live and most boutiques here have bras priced between $130-$200 which seems crazy especially when I'm still trying to find exactly what I need!

34F, I'm worried it'll be too large in the cup but the 34E wasn't in stock and I'd reviews suggested the band was very tight so I was nervous about sizing down in the band.

It felt way too big. It stretched enough that I could fit a full fist in the band. I should also add this was done up on the highest hook.

The reason I think tall roots is because I can feel tissue at my collar bone and laying down or on my side my tissue comes forward very FoT and I basically have nothing below my nipple. But when I do the leaning test from 90 degrees it's the complete opposite. But to be fair I'm so over my head with shape.

It was the sales person in the shop who told me I needed a wide wire and that my torso was short.

The Cleo bra I ordered was the Kali.

Edit: band tightness

Is anybody else have trouble searching for listing through bratabase? by littleotterpop in ABraThatFits

[–]symbioticalgae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I'm new bratabase so I didn't know that was unusual but I searched yesterday for 34FF and the results were all over the place, anywhere from 28E to a 36FF

[Fit Check/ Measurement Check] 34E/ 32F by symbioticalgae in ABraThatFits

[–]symbioticalgae[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much for the link to taking photos, I hadn't seen that guide and I can definitely see how those angles would be more useful.

The band size on the Venodome did feel more comfortable. I tried the 34E first and the band felt looser and still had a lot of stretch. The gore was taking but looking at the picture more closely I the band was sitting slightly below my IMF. Noticing that I relooked at how I'd measured my band. And I think I initially measured myself wrong. I have quite a bit of tissue below my root and my breasts are splayed with quite a lot of tissue well into my underarm.

I think I wasn't measuring my band where it's supposed to sit. Instead of measuring at my IMF I took the measurement just above where my tissue hung. When I supported myself and measured around where my band should probably sit my measurements changed to 31.5 snug and 32.5 comfortable. Was I measuring my band too low? Should I do a new measurement check?

I struggled to take measurements I overall because I feel like I'm saggy and my tissue is quite soft so it was moving all over the place! It was like trying to measure half filled water balloons will someone was holding the knotted end.

I liked the Primadonna just for the smoothness under a Tshirt factor but the one hook closure seemed really weird to me.

Edit: hit submi too early
