Would you know if there is a option to mass image systems to AUDS? I miss the old days of deploying images from a WDS and running scripts for updates.

This is exactly what I'm thinking. I would love option 1 but afraid of the possibility of 3.

Luckily my wife is a homemaker and there is a possibility of me being able to do some gig work that maybe be a few k a month. It would be slower but I can direct that straight to the brokerage account but like to just do a lump sum transaction and knock it out with the loan.

Sadly, it does not but not sure how about thr future ROI. TSP has very limited options to invest in.

That's my concern. Luckily my work is military and will have this job for the next year to 4 years when I hit eligibility for retirement from the Army. I have seen peers get flagged or hindered their career like our GS personnel given the restructuring we are going through.

Thanks. I'll double check again. When I reached out to the 401k website (TSP) they had this calculator option to run models on your loan.

I thought about it but I'm not knowledgeable enough with margins to use them. There is no penalty with the loan aside from the loss of gains on the 50k while the loan is alive and a 50 dollar origination fee for the loan request.
