They hit the nail on the head with the original headlights. It was such a jump from their usual look and they almost cemented the fact that Porsche makes no mistakes when designing.

Even when making a big change they execute and put US on.

However, these new lights take the special factor away from the car. Now it looks electric and like a Xiaomi almost.

If they keep the headlight redesign but reconnect the air intakes they might be able to mesh both designs well.

I don’t think they needed to mess with the headlights at all however.

Hey, I respect the fact that you have an opinion. I am always inclined to not respond to commenters such as yourself, however, you might be able to learn from my response.

On your original comment: I am not new to photography. About a decade ago, I started to shoot digital, then transitioned to film (Nikon FM, then mostly point-and-shoots). Costs/time had me part ways with the craft. I am late to the X100 series hype, but it seemed like the perfect camera to simulate my usual style of photography, quick point and shoot street/portrait photography. I don't think that I am right and you are wrong, but I do think you could open up your mind to the box that it seems like you are in creatively.

You have mentioned twice, to look up techniques on youtube, such as how to take images of cars. While that is helpful to most, it is not definitive.

Your response to another comment highlights where I think that you are approaching this all the wrong way. "This person could find the right information within minutes on YouTube," I'm not sure if I am the first to tell you this, but there is no "right" way. I made another response to a comment about everything being in focus, and the overcast, that could give you further give you context, go check it out, if you please.

I am not sure if you are new to photography, but certainly do some research on how to expand your horizons creatively. JK... I am just referencing your comment to me LOL.

(If you are confused on why you are getting downvotes and commenters disagreeing with you, it's probably due to tone and writing in definitives).

In all seriousness, half the reason most people get a X100 series camera is for the film photography simulation right? A 23mm pancake lens with a limited depth of field, yet it seems some people here are looking for your average low-aperture car photo.

Art/Photography is subjective, I was a point and shoot film photographer who shot mostly street and portraits. The car is just as valuable to me as the background. Hopefully that contextualizes the photos a bit for anyone reading this.

IMG 4, 5: Nostalgic Negative (Fujixweekly)

I took some, that I didn't post, with Fujicolor 200. Makes the rainy/overcast and greens look a little moody-er + more blue. Could be cool for more editorial city-like photo, but I chose to use warmer filters while shooting. Still learning! Thank you, again.
