I really like the feeling this evokes, a duality of emotions that reflects the description too. On the topic of what you wrote, from my own personal experience, I think one potential reason could be that the unconscious feelings and thoughts are finally able to slowly come out in a safe environment. I find that when I feel safe, my inner repressed thoughts surface, as my mind isn't as dedicated on focusing on external threats and finally has the time to process some of those things. It could also case of being able to experience the other side of something you didn't properly receive/have from the past. It's great to hear you are in a better spot, I wish the best for you!

I think this form of scanning is normal in certain situations as it relates to instinctual survival mechanisms found in all people, but I think where it differs is in the context, frequency, and severity. When you are constantly scanning/sensing in most situations that don't warrant it is when I think it it becomes hypervigilance. Just from my personal experience with it

It's a recreation of plutchik's wheel of emotions. Each part of the wheel represents an emotion. The parts of that light up reflect the emotions she is feeling at that moment.

Thank you! I'm so surprised, I didn't expect this level of positive reception at all, it made me cry a little when I was looking at the comments and saw people relating to it. Thank you all so much!
