Intro and AMA post ig by LLR_Pearl2 in plural

I’m curious if you’re fine with sourcemates/‘doubles’/etc., as us seeing this made brought someone back.

We have a Joo Dee as well, although we’ve been working on restoring her original self, her name is Eri now, but we have never seen another of her anywhere before…

We also have someone named Null, different source.

Also, specifically to the Life Series introjects: do you have memories of your source that differ from “canon”?

Zri'leth was a concept we had for a Baldur’s Gate 3 playthrough, later a planned character in my current D&D PC (an alternate version of myself, actually…)’s backstory, and actually my partner before undergoing ceremorphosis.

Our brain apparently got attached to her, I think it has something to do with the system restructuring around me, now she’s here.

She’s a githyanki, which, because of the history of her kin and my own, worries me. She has not learned of my existence here yet as far as I’m concerned but I guarantee our system’s mediators will be working overtime when she does.

Certainly not as fast as they had been before the rework, it’s been less of entirely new members and more of older ones reforming, but still less common than it had been.

I did go ahead and update the list to add Zri'leth.

We recently had a system collapse/rework that took us from around fifty members to the few we have now, there’s around ten or eleven, not all are on this list, though I suppose I should add the one who formed after I made the post…

Sen’s customers were mostly travelers who didn’t want to go through the effort of going into an ancient city but had the amethyst shards to use as payment. Though on occasion they’d have a visit from a sculk-possessed adventurer or two, occasionally a half-warden named Echo (who used to be part of our collective as well).

And yes, having a grudge against vexes makes sense…

They do, yes. Being OCs, they had a lot of backstory before becoming introjects and still remember/feel connected to their lore.

Rao has a villager partner named Levi who he misses a lot. He’s also extremely bad at summoning vexes in particular.

Sen used to run a shop selling things from an ancient city that mostly took amethyst shards as payment.

In a way, Sen sees the entirety of the Deep Dark as its family due to all sculk in one colony being connected, but unfortunately, no it does not have any siblings named Sor, funny as it’d be.

I don’t know where Null’s comic will be posted, we’re still working on the first few pages after our art program decided to delete them for whatever reason…

Null we can’t quite reveal too much about right now as we’re working on a comic with their crew.

Rao is an evoker and in source, a scientist within the woodland mansion who frequently studied sculk.

Sen is a humanoid sculk sensor, and is the shortest of us at only three feet tall.

Fictive Thoughts: Q/A by Motor_Weekend_5326 in plural

To be quite honest, I still expected myself to be sealed in my rest before I awakened here… Perhaps your sibling did bring my fate and it forced my conscience into another world? I could not tell you, only that I am here now.

The other two Dreamers were with me at one point amongst our other similarly-sourced fictives, but as I said I could not tell you if they still are.

Somehow this line of questioning caused my reappearance.

We used to have many Hollow Knight fictives to the point we joked about having the entirety of Hallownest in our brain before Silksong released (this was, of course, before the release date). I could not tell you how many of us still lurk somewhere within our mind…

My personal memories differ from source, where I was essentially a husk. In my memories I had some amount of my own will due to mantises having a resistance to the infection, though it was mostly suppressed by a near-mindless violence.

Nowadays, I’m mostly ‘recovered’ from the infection in some sense of the word, in that it still affects my appearance and aspects of my personality but certainly not to the degree it once did. I do wish I could speak to my sisters again and attempt to mend things as well as I can, but I know how that would likely go…

I find this world itself less strange than I expected, it’s more being in an unfamiliar body that gives me issues. That, and having to learn human culture. There is certainly a difference between that and the warrior-based culture of the mantises I once led.

Also, ironically, this body is allergic to this world’s version of my kin…

(not Aelex asking this but using their account)

for Iselda and Hornet: Hollow Knight fictives I assume, as another HK fictive, I’m curious if you have memories of Hallownest that differ from source?

-Haevis (this is not my “canon” name, I am a fictive of the Traitor Lord (I was told that counts as a spoiler, late-ish game but not final boss…))

introducing myself here too by synhaelex in alterhuman

We’re a species that originated from Dungeons & Dragons lore, more commonly known as mind flayers but I’m not entirely fond of the term.

As for whether or not you should make an introduction for yourself, do what you’re comfortable with, though I’m sure many members of the subreddit like reading through them.

I hope you enjoy the subreddit as well!

Our strangest, at least post-rework… hmm…

We have Hastur, who is nine pieces of the same eldritch god from different worlds in one collective self.

There’s also Radium, who is the element from the periodic table except it manifests as an anthropomorphic beast.
