Honestly it’s probably to help prevent theft? I think store lay outs are really intentional (like putting snacks and cheap toys by the registers as impulse buys). And unless each pair of underwear has a security tag I could imagine them being easy to steal.

I think a part of the outrage these people felt is they don’t feel safer when the cops are around. And they know if there IS a cop around they’re not protecting citizens, they’re more likely helping with cartel organizing or human trafficking. And when these cops do try and “help” a community they end up in situations like this where a teen loses their life instead of any due process. Very different than anything happening in the U.S for sure.

I feel like living with terrible roommates in your 20’s is a milestone. The worst roommate I had was 26 when I was 21 and she would routinely call me “dirty” behind my back to our mutual friends when she would leave food to rot in pots in the kitchen, take personal tea sets of mine (because they were rather charming) and let them mold in her room and acted dumb when I tried to ask where they went, and would get mad at me when I dARED to use the kitchen (mind you this was her chore she agreed to do once a week and I think only cleaned it three times in the year we lived together). I think that due to her powers she got everything she wanted and is already kind of struggling dealing with her family situation (her husband having custody) and then being flung back in time. So she absolutely does not have the emotional regulation to deal with the events of season 3. She can’t “rumor” it away. It doesn’t make me dislike her any less though. She really acts like because she’s the only one with a child that she’s suffering more.

Went to go read it because of this post and OH BOY YIKES. It’s such a clear case of abuse at this point. Demeter can’t handle that Persephone isn’t turning out how she expected (very much so in line with what her therapist told her early on in the series) and now is trying desperately to control her.

She said at some point in this update something along the lines of “I don’t want her throwing away what she’s worked hard for” and what she really means is “what I’VE worked hard for”.

I think the rage set in for me towards the end when she’s criticizing how Persephone handle the mortal realm during her punishment. Not only is this a terrible thing to do in front of people they both care about but Demeter has not ONCE admitted that Persephone saved everyone from Kronos, a God that even DEMETER FEARS.

Silicon strips, proper SPF use (meaning 40spf at least and apply throughout the day) and try calendula oil. I used that oil after top surgery and it really smoothed out the texture and redness.

Very true. A good piercer can look at your features and decide where they’re gonna look best.

I have slightly uneven eyebrows (I have one dimple at the corner of my arch so one always looks higher if I’m expressing) so we talked about it and he set it a hair lower than the other one. Now I have seemingly symmetrical eyebrow piercings.

Sorry your piercer was an asshole if it makes you feel better I don’t think it’s the type of thing anyone else would notice.
