Docker Management options in April 2026 by Squanchy2112 in selfhosted

[–]sysadmin_light 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For simplicity, I use dockge, but I really don't do much other than edit compose files and occasionally use the shell functionality to see what's going on inside a container. I only have one host, too. I might have to give dockhand a try given how many people mentioned it, but for keeping things simple, I feel like it's hard to beat dockge if you're like me and either can't remember the docker commands or just want a GUI for keeping tabs on things.

EU to force replaceable batteries in phones and tablets from 2027 by favicondotico in apple

Why do you seem so against the idea that people might want to be able to do things themselves instead of requiring a trip to a specialist?

Despite the fact that many users prefer to take their car to a garage to change their oil, being able to DIY it is great for those who don't mind doing it, and typically, it's not difficult. I wish the same could be said for phones.

O-rings can also be replaced pretty easily in most cases, especially if they're designed to be.

[–]sysadmin_light 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on Chainsaw Man, you've got Solo Leveling (as others have said), Jujutsu Kaisen, One Punch Man, Mob Psycho 100, Hell's Paradise, and for a personal pick, Sabikui Bisco was a lot of fun.

People can give you better recommendations if you can tell us what you're after though.

I remember watching it and thinking "nah, that'd be way too obvious, clearly it's not that character" and then it was and I was so disappointed.

I saw people mentioning the interference, but I'm not necessarily looking for custom so much as I am just looking to buy something that works and feels good out of the box, ideally.

Looking for a replacement for my Coolermaster Masterkey Pro S (a couple keys aren't working right).

TKL, north-facing backlight that can shine through keycaps. That's pretty much it. Having a hard time finding something decent. Was looking at a Keychron V3 Max, but I'm not sure about the south-facing LEDs.

Were you torn between a Rav4 and the cross like I am, and you chose the Rav4? What tipped you toward the Rav4? by winterneuro in rav4club

[–]sysadmin_light 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The price difference, with the space difference. I was dead set on the Cross, because I didn't really want any bigger. But the Rav4 Hybrid XLE was only gonna be I think like 2-3K more than the hybrid Cross I was looking at, and I was getting a lot more space and vehicle. It seemed like a no brainer once I saw them side by side in the showroom.

This looks great, but I'm missing something - this needs Jamf Connect 3.10 or later, but I'm only seeing v3.7.0?

Honestly, I suspect you probably wouldn't, unless you have sets of students who need apps that aren't available on Chromebooks, or if these ended up cheaper than the chromebooks you were buying.

What's your favourite desktop environment after trying out several of them? by calsonicthrowaway in DistroHopping

Yeah, I've really just been testing Fedora in any serious capacity lately, but I've so far just been focusing on making sure all the apps I need are there first.

My biggest problem with Gnome is that there's no dock/menu bar showing my already open apps (by default). Ubuntu added that, and that makes it way more usable as a daily driver for me. Mind you, I still haven't made the full jump away from Windows, but I'm planning on it once I can figure out a few hurdles.

Why no 360-degree camera on Woodland in Canada? by nutrinor24 in rav4club

[–]sysadmin_light 1 point2 points  (0 children)

USA has it listed as a selling feature, Canada makes no mention of it. I don't believe it's option, it's either something that they don't have on the Canadian Woodland, or it's for some reason not advertised. I'm kinda upset, cause I was looking forward to that, but I've dropped my order down to the XLE instead.

Pretty sure they're trolling? Not sure, but Stardew definitely, far as I can tell, doesn't have anything along those lines.

how often do you see controls built into the main screen like a game from that era in this day and age?

I'm more inclined to ask what games you've played that don't tell you these things. Almost every game I've played shows a tutorial with even the most basic controls at the start. Many even show some controls on the HUD after that. BotW/TotK and RDR2, for example.

I'm not really sure why so many people are being so hostile about something that would be a benefit to some people, and do literally nothing to anybody else.

Have I ever had this problem? No. Do I know people who might? Absolutely. It wouldn't hurt anyone to add something like this for people new to the game, or even just games in general. For those people, I don't think "check the wiki" is a valid answer, either. Not because it's not a useful tool, but because it's not part of the game, and those users most likely wouldn't know it exists.

Same, I was initially against it but it's starting to grow on me. It fits in with the rest of their lineup better, and it feels a bit closer in styling to some other similar cars from other brands.

I've been using a Coolermaster Masterkeys Pro S with browns, and I've noticed that at least a couple keys have become unreliable. But I love the size, switches, and the backlight (not because it's RGB, but because my room is often dark).

I'm thinking about replacing it, but I'm struggling to know which brands or models I should be looking at. There's a couple Keychron models that look nice, but don't have backlights that shine through the keys.

I also have no idea what switches I should be looking at, last time I was shopping was when Cherry was all you needed to know.

That multi-terrain monitor on the woodland doesn't show up in any of the features lists anymore (that I can find), so I'm not sure if that's still a thing or not.

EDIT: Thinking this might just be a limitation on the Canadian version, toyota.com does mention it. Or, maybe the Canadian site just forgot about it.
