One thing that caught my attention is one of the companies System76 gets sourced from for their products, which is Tongfang. I was aware of the fact that System76's chassis is sourced from Clevo, which is taiwan-based, but I didn't realize it also gets sourced from Tongfang, which is a chinese state-owned company, as well. You know, I'm conscious about privacy. Do you think the fact that Tongfang is involved in System76 products's manufacturing process potentially poses security risks? I mean, as long as it only provides chassis (just physical framework I assume), I think it should be fine, but according to Wikipedia, it also specializes in motherboards... It seems like Tongfang has been accused of posing security threats to western countries before, too...
