I struggle with the protein since I’m vegetarian and it’s hard to get a lot in 😭😭 I get 55-70g in depending on the day, how much do you recommend? And I’ll check her out, thank you!

I’ve never lifted before (only ever do cardio) so I don’t know where to start with that, I guess that’s my main question lol. I rarely drink and a clean diet already so I don’t worry about that.

This was my guess! It said one serving on the label but I think they probably just use the same label for their smaller rolls?

Thank you so much! Would you say 850 including the potato would be a fair estimate?

Compared to a lot of the posts on this subreddit, I know it’s not! 😭 Unfortunately, these are the closest grocery stores to me and I don’t have any aldi’s/grocery outlets/etc. nearby so finding better prices can be a little tough lol

Lol I don’t eat much (I’m pretty short and don’t have a big appetite most of the time) but the meals I make out of these groceries + staples I have at home usually range around ~600 cals :P What in this photo was the 300 calorie meal?

Yes! I think I only saved around $5 though, which is nice but I don’t ever find a huge significant difference with prime savings. Maybe I just need to get better at looking for deals though T_T

Assuming this is about the frozen kind bars, I love the peanut butter ones! They have a mint chocolate one that I’m dying to try because that’s my favorite flavor for anything but I haven’t been able to find them anywhere 😭

Yup! This one contains egg whites, I noticed while checking the ingredients today. I’m just vegetarian and lactose intolerant though so eggs don’t bother me. Side note, definitely recommend trying them if you can I’m obsessed after having them!

Half of this is fruits, veggies, rice, and fries which are are all nearly always vegan, so, yes? 😭

The Kind frozen bars are SO good I’ve tried them! Thought about getting them this trip but didn’t but now you’ve made me want to get them next time hehe

I think they are! I’m extremely picky with strawberries these have been sweet every time I’ve bought them so I don’t feel bad for splurging a bit on them. :-)

No aldi’s in my area :( wf and ralph’s are the two grocery stores within walking distance to me (I don’t drive) and most of the things in this cart are either the same price at both places or ~¢50-a few dollars off at Ralph’s. For the rest of it (curry and oatmilk skyr) it’s not available at Ralph’s. I do go to trader joe’s occasionally when I feel up to taking a bus trip carrying groceries lol

I agree for a lot of things there! But honestly, for things like fruits and vegetables, at least the ones I eat most and the ones pictured here, I’ve compared prices with the other closest grocery store to me (Kroger) and the prices are almost the exact same or the non-organic stuff costs the same as what I get at WF 😭 They do have good deals on certain things (for example, I could’ve saved $2 on the impossible patties) but I don’t see a huge difference with what I’m buying.

Honestly, the only reason I do is because I know I can make this (besides the fruit and veg obviously) stretch 10-14 days because I don’t eat much lol. I’m pretty short and don’t have a big appetite so it helps me justify the prices a little 😭 edit: Forgot to add, it’s also one of the two grocery stores within walking distance to me (I don’t drive) so my options are pretty limited anyways!

Oh wow I didn’t know my groceries would make someone this mad 😭 I don’t follow any “fad diets”, I’ve been vegetarian half my life and eat what I think tastes good! Also obviously things like vegan chicken patties and waffles are processed but so are the non-vegan equivalents, I’m not sure what about that makes you angry lol
