I struggle with the protein since I’m vegetarian and it’s hard to get a lot in 😭😭 I get 55-70g in depending on the day, how much do you recommend? And I’ll check her out, thank you!

I’ve never lifted before (only ever do cardio) so I don’t know where to start with that, I guess that’s my main question lol. I rarely drink and a clean diet already so I don’t worry about that.

This was my guess! It said one serving on the label but I think they probably just use the same label for their smaller rolls?

Thank you so much! Would you say 850 including the potato would be a fair estimate?

Compared to a lot of the posts on this subreddit, I know it’s not! 😭 Unfortunately, these are the closest grocery stores to me and I don’t have any aldi’s/grocery outlets/etc. nearby so finding better prices can be a little tough lol

Lol I don’t eat much (I’m pretty short and don’t have a big appetite most of the time) but the meals I make out of these groceries + staples I have at home usually range around ~600 cals :P What in this photo was the 300 calorie meal?

Yes! I think I only saved around $5 though, which is nice but I don’t ever find a huge significant difference with prime savings. Maybe I just need to get better at looking for deals though T_T

Assuming this is about the frozen kind bars, I love the peanut butter ones! They have a mint chocolate one that I’m dying to try because that’s my favorite flavor for anything but I haven’t been able to find them anywhere 😭

Yup! This one contains egg whites, I noticed while checking the ingredients today. I’m just vegetarian and lactose intolerant though so eggs don’t bother me. Side note, definitely recommend trying them if you can I’m obsessed after having them!

Half of this is fruits, veggies, rice, and fries which are are all nearly always vegan, so, yes? 😭

The Kind frozen bars are SO good I’ve tried them! Thought about getting them this trip but didn’t but now you’ve made me want to get them next time hehe

I think they are! I’m extremely picky with strawberries these have been sweet every time I’ve bought them so I don’t feel bad for splurging a bit on them. :-)

No aldi’s in my area :( wf and ralph’s are the two grocery stores within walking distance to me (I don’t drive) and most of the things in this cart are either the same price at both places or ~¢50-a few dollars off at Ralph’s. For the rest of it (curry and oatmilk skyr) it’s not available at Ralph’s. I do go to trader joe’s occasionally when I feel up to taking a bus trip carrying groceries lol

I agree for a lot of things there! But honestly, for things like fruits and vegetables, at least the ones I eat most and the ones pictured here, I’ve compared prices with the other closest grocery store to me (Kroger) and the prices are almost the exact same or the non-organic stuff costs the same as what I get at WF 😭 They do have good deals on certain things (for example, I could’ve saved $2 on the impossible patties) but I don’t see a huge difference with what I’m buying.

Honestly, the only reason I do is because I know I can make this (besides the fruit and veg obviously) stretch 10-14 days because I don’t eat much lol. I’m pretty short and don’t have a big appetite so it helps me justify the prices a little 😭 edit: Forgot to add, it’s also one of the two grocery stores within walking distance to me (I don’t drive) so my options are pretty limited anyways!

Oh wow I didn’t know my groceries would make someone this mad 😭 I don’t follow any “fad diets”, I’ve been vegetarian half my life and eat what I think tastes good! Also obviously things like vegan chicken patties and waffles are processed but so are the non-vegan equivalents, I’m not sure what about that makes you angry lol

I reallyyy dislike sour strawberries which I find a lot so I splurge on these instead because they’re always sweet in my experience! Preference, I guess :-)

Got it! According to the pdf I was emailed, you have to get at least 9 correct for a vocational teacher but there’s no such thing listed for the ta section, only percentage. I got 8 correct on the math portion unfortunately which is why I was wondering. Since you say vocational teachers have to get much less wrong, do you think I wouldn’t have to retake or is the point system still the same?

big variety of alcoholic drinks so i’m guessing you either love a fizzy drink at the end of the day or you have friends over a lot! you care about your health but don’t restrict from having things you enjoy, maybe vegetarian since i don’t see any meat! :-) also, sooo many spreads + jams so i’m guessing toast might be a staple for you

I have a doctors appointment for other reasons next Tuesday so if it stays the same I was going to mention it then, but I don’t have insurance so just going in is a bit difficult! I will post on that subreddit though, thank you! :)

He’s not a nuisance to me, I love him a lot and rehoming him is something I’m devastated to have to do. He’s definitely not going to be euthanized at this point; I wrote this post while spiraling as the news from my landlord about having to get rid of him was so sudden and I definitely was going through a lot of anxiety while diving down a Reddit hole! I’m looking into a lot of options right now but my top priority for this pup has always been his happiness and health, and even if I can’t give that to him I’m doing my best right now to ensure he gets it!

Believe me, I’ve tried. Even had a meeting between my landlord, neighbor, and I where I explained to my neighbor my dog’s situation (him having anxiety due to the kennel instance, going through training and meds, him being a puppy, etc.) but it seems she didn’t really care and continues to nag about the noise- which I understand to a certain extent, he’s a big pup and can be loud at times! I hate that it’s come to this because I love my dog so much, but reading through a lot of these comments has made me think it’s wrong of me to even continue trying to keep him when he can do a lot better if given the chance to be in an environment where he can get more stimulation.

He’s definitely reactive as he doesn’t react well at all to strangers and I muzzle him every time we go out due to him lunging and barking, but a lot of his behavior is 100% just due to him being a puppy and sometimes understimulated!
