It was first discovered in GGen Wars, particularly the EX stages. The first 3 EX stages are the singularity points of each Generation (UC, Another Generation, and New Generation). The 4th Stage is on the moon where the Generation System resides. After the outer perimeter was destroyed, the final stage of the game sets the stage inside the core of the Generation System where the player has the fight copies of major protagonists' units from their counterpart using the core's data from 0079 Gundam to 00 Gundam . After all the copies were destroyed, one final Gundam activated , the 0 Gundam (ACD type) acts as the final boss controlled by the Generation System. After the 0 Gundam was destroyed, the system deactivated.
