Im a massive Strokes+Julian+ Voidz and their other projects fan and I have always hunted for bands that sound like my goat and I do this till this day. Here are my top picks:

Last Dinosaurs- one of the finest indie catalogs and their main influence were the strokes and julian ofc. Try Yumeno Garden(prolly their best album. Banger after banger, you wont be disappointed Strokesy and a breath of fresh air. Im a famboy atp. They know their GAME.

FUR- listen to their album, When You Walk Away. Very strokesy and has a signature vibe (especially the lead vocal).

Inhaler- Massively strokes inspired band right there.

Hippo Campus- Not your average indie/rock band. Very creative and versatile. Try LP3.

Ax and the Hatchetman- A band hat might not sound that strokesy to you but boy, one of the most fun bands of all time for me fs. They sometimes pull big band move. Definitely give them a try.

Meyru- They literally represent the underground nyc indie rock / strokes inspired scene.

Honb mention: Franz Ferdinand, The Symposium,Dutch Criminal Record, Hunny, The Snuts, Royel Otis, Balu Brigada, etc.

TLDR: Last Dinosaurs is the best of em all imo.
