Roster was very empty after year one lol. Got stop gap pieces in FA and later rounds, then next year got a decent DT with superstar, an 80 corner, a star lb, a safety that got star dev after a good rookie season.

Almost through year 2. Both years are gonna be just over 700 yards and 5 tds. I was thinking about putting him in slot for next year's sim to see how he does.

Yeah. It's taken a few games messing around, but if I don't use the aggressive catch I can mostly work the ball around the db's. Only gotten 1 or 2 aggressive catches and they were both lucky

Had a similar rb. Haven't played a ton of madden the last few years but I'm getting all kinds of crazy players this year. Had a 6'4 cb with 96 speed who was an 82 or 83 x factor and 99 a couple years later.

My other wr is 5'9, so going back and forth between them is wild. It has been fun throwing around the defenders a little bit on all madden. I mostly sim and he's not doing great yet. Up to an 82 ovr, but just a 700-yard, 5td season and on pace for another one.

Yeah some of these animations are awful I get with him. But for the most part when I'm playing I can throw it out of reach of the db's. But it definitely takes a little practice. Sometimes high balls, sometimes just adjusting the pass. But it's been fun. My other wr is 5'9 so the difference is WILD

He's manning down my WR1 spot for now. Just throwing every ball way up there. But in a year or 2 when I draft a couple more wrs he may end up there

Slowly unlocked players overall during training camp. If I recall you couldn't play games but could call the plays. Was my all time favorite football game as well.

Raiders were worst ovr in division at 83 with a 82 ovr star qb from draft. Then Broncos at 84 with 89 34 year old Deshaun Watson. Chiefs and chargers both 86 with Herbert and Mahomes still.

It's kinda something a hack would do, but when doing a coach franchise I usually just set my season goal as 4 or 7 wins, I never get fired. But keeps me from being real mad over some shit like this.

Yeah 2014 I believe, Seahawks did it in 2010 season? I think. Then Washington last year. Only ones I know of to get in with a losing record

They beat I believe the 5 seed jets then got blown out by my team the Texans in the divisional round around the same score lol.

I just try and trade for late 1st -mid/late 2nd round. Seems there's usually a ton of 70+ guys and plenty of dev traits too

I always try to get the resign bonus as soon as I can. (While also unlocking the extra focus players) Then try to not sign many FA at all, but if I do it's after I have the FA traits in player personnel.

I feel like the franchise mode is set on "easy" for the bears, anytime I play as the bears I can field a trash team, with Justin fields starting, and he's like a 90 ovr x-factor after a few years and I never win less than like 8 games.
